Beautiful newly renovated 2 bedroom basement suite. Basement summer cool with A/C. Added sound protection in ceiling throughout with walk-in closet in master bedroom. 55 inch smart TV, fireplace, alarm, microwave & convection oven and dishwasher with in-suite laundry. K-Cup coffee maker, toaster, iron & ironing board and more. Ready to be your home away!

Nestled in the beautiful suburban community of Maple Ridge. Only 55 minutes to downtown Vancouver and 2.3 hours to Whistler, while Stanley park, English Bay, Kitsilano Beach, Crescent Beach, White Rock, Bby. Mnt. Park, Capilano & Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridges are an hour away.

Whistler Village 2.5 hrs
Grouse Mnt, Scenic Seymour Mnt & Hemlock Valley. All less than 1 hr 15 min. away

But, for those lazier days and as close as 5-10 minute walk away from your door, there is more to see and enjoy. You can walk through the forest on our beautiful trails to Kanaka Creek while listening to the bird song or just walk to the Albion Sports Complex just around the corner and maybe take in a summer baseball or softball game or hockey or ice skating around the corner at Planet Ice.

I would give it 10 stars if I could. we have been on the road for 2 years and have seen a lot of short term stay apartments. This house stands out because of the thoughtfullness and love that Wayne and his wife have poured into it. It felt like "our home" - very luxurious and upscale. The space is roomy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we would need - from oil to spices to utensils. Super clean. Very private. We loved our 4 night stay. We will be back!

After attending an intense conference I was able to just REST and do nothing else without disturbance which was badly needed. I appreciated the notification about the bear being in the area. And, we communicated well by texting because I’m deaf.

We had a great stay at this property. Location was perfect for our needs, it was incredibly clean (5 stars) and had lot's of little extras. There was a lovely basket waiting for us upon arrival with hand written notes. The suite was quiet and spacious for our group of 3. Would definitely stay here again!

Terrific long-stay

This was our second 2-month stay, and every bit as great as the first - so nice to feel like we were coming “home”. The unit has absolutely everything to make a long stay perfect: truly well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, modern laundry. The area is really best explored with a car, but a bus stop just a 5 minute walk in either direction from the house makes getting to downtown Maple Ridge - or even Vancouver - pretty painless. We’re looking forward to being back.

A real home away from home with comfortable furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen in a generously sized, beautifully decorated space. Lovely private patio. Excellent responsive hosts, and the bonus of being close to lots of walkable green space and public transit. Looking forward to our return stay later this spring!

Just the best!!

This beautiful suite was everything stated and more. It was a "home away from home," everything we needed was there and Wayne was only a text away if there were questions. This trip was to spend time with our daughter and we would rebook for future trips to BC.
