I went in expecting an average 3-star experience, but Carter Creek completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming — the staff were genuinely friendly, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Our room was spotless & spacious. We also enjoyed the restaurant; the food was far better than we expected with generous portions and great presentation. What really impressed me was how well everything was thought out — from the easy check-in to the cozy outdoor areas where you can sit with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. It felt like the perfect weekend escape. I came in thinking it would be “fine” and left planning my next visit. If you’re on the fence, give it a try — you might be just as surprised as I was!

Very convenient to the Highway 290 wineries. Check in was very easy and friendly as was check out. The property is clean, and well appointed. Only complaint, very narrow check-in window.

Love the stay with family, except the hot tub wasn't available, it was out of order. Kids.were looking forward to it.. also the kitchen was shuts early at 9 despite the kitchen closes at 10pm.. little bit disappointed with that too.. over all its not too bad, we always love it here..
