The condition of the room was severely disappointing and suggested a significant lack of maintenance and upkeep. The decor and fixtures were notably outdated, but the core issue was one of cleanliness and repair. We encountered a persistent, unpleasant odor upon entering. The ceilings were in poor condition, featuring cracks, signs of mold, and chipped paint, with spider webs visible in the corners. The carpeting was extremely dirty, and the borders of the walls showed visible mold and dust buildup. The refrigerator was also unclean and emitted an odor. Furthermore, the missing freezer door caused excessive frost and ice buildup within the unit, rendering it largely unusable. Finally, the high level of outside traffic noise made restful sleep very difficult. On a positive note, the staff were friendly. However, I feel they contributed to the overall negative experience by knowingly checking guests , especially families, into a room in this unacceptable condition(per Quality Inn motto Get your money’s worth!”and choice hotels motto “Our business is you”)—particularly since it was late and no other rooms were available. This hotel is in desperate need of a massive makeover or, at the very least, an immediate and thorough deep cleaning. I will absolutely not be staying here again. I did not get my moneys worth and the hotel is most definitely not a reflection of me!
