It's a day at the Beach....

The morning sun kisses your cheek. The soft breezes gently urge you to hit the beach, do yoga on the deck, or simply have a cup of coffee and relax.

Search no more. This home offers accommodations, with stunning outdoor spaces, privacy (Your neighbor isn't watching you relax on our deck) and access to local amenities that are simply unmatched at such an affordable price.

Welcome to Sandalwood! A community of New Seabury that features larger lots and more privacy and walking distance to the Mashpee Commons and the trails of the Mashpee River!

Let us give you a walking tour. A stone driveway with cobble stone edging, guides you to the home. Hydrangeas and Cape Cod grasses greet you as you make your entrance. Notice that you can park multiple cars in the driveway. A brick walkway leads you to the home.

The home has 2 levels. On the first level you will see a fully equipped kitchen, granite countertops with recessed lighting and a eat-in island. Also a large living room with a 50" flat screen TV, a shiplap cathedral ceiling and large paddle fan. A stunning gas see thru fireplace offers splendid ambiance in both the kitchen and the living room! It's awesome! A quick flick of the switch has you enjoying a nice fire no matter what season!

Two sliding glass doors bring you to a beautiful two level deck. The deck is ideal for sun bathing, reading or just enjoying an after beach cocktail. There is plenty of deck seating as well as built in benches. A gas grill is also provided. Additionally, on those chilly nights, lounge by our large fire table. The table throws off significant heat and has 4 comfortable chairs.

Off the side of the home you will find a pathway that leads you to the beautiful outside shower with a changing area. It is a virtual sanctuary! The shower head features a wonderful handheld shower head to get all the beach sand off!

Finally, on the first level you will find a full bath and a bedroom that features 2 twin beds. This bedroom, decked in nautical theme, also has a TV.

So to review here is what we have for sleeping accommodations:
(1) Queen in master
(2 Twins in guest (downstairs)
(3) Twins in third bedroom upstairs (1 is a trundle)
(1) Portable cot (Twin)
(2) Twin Serta Air Mattress

Heading upstairs you will find the second full bath the master bedroom and the third bedroom with 2 twin beds and a trundle. Nice wall mounted TV for ease of viewing.

Finally the Master Bedroom has a queen size bed as well as a walk-in closet. We have provided a TV in the Master as well. That's 4 TV's in total.

The home is equipped with Central Air Conditioning which for many is a must. We didn't think we would use it, but now we know differently.

One of the best beaches on Cape Cod is South Cape Beach. This is a short 5 minute drive away and offers grills, restrooms and is a pay per day parking. See the link provided below.

The world renown Mashpee Commons offering restaurants, shops, cinema and free concerts is less than a mile away. (Link Provided.)

No stay at our property is complete without a stop or two at the Popponesset Marketplace. This quaint shop/entertainment area is home the of Raw Bar often voted the BEST Lobster roll in all of New England.

A short stroll brings you to the Mashpee River Woodlands. This is an awesome trail system that offers striking views of the Mashpee River.

Wedding Weekend at Willowbend

We had a great time just hanging on the back deck. We were a group of adults from Massachusetts that were there for our friend’s wedding so we were not there for a typical Cape weekend. I chose it for the deck and the outdoor shower and neither disappointed. The house is exactly as described and all felt the beds were comfortable. The location is perfect for activities in that area. The nature path at the end of the cul de sac was a bonus.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great neighborhood and close to everything we needed. We very much appreciated that it was dog friendly as our little frenchie is truly a part of our family. The huge deck was amazing, we only wish we had more time to enjoy it! Summer 2022 at Sandalwood Village

Our family had a tremendous time staying at the property. The home (kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathrooms) was spacious, clean, and sunny. The back deck and outdoor shower were incredible and we used them every day. The location was ideal: our college son was playing baseball in the Cape League, our college daughter was working nearby, and we were close to the games, her job, the beach, restaurants, shopping, and every other Cape destination. The house and the outdoors were supplied with everything we needed, including a large gas grill and comfortable deck chairs. The kitchen, bathrooms, AC, TV’s, and overhead fans were all in great shape. The house owner was readily available and helpful with any questions that we had - and he did everything he could to ensure that we had a wonderful stay at the home, which we did!

Wedding Weekend

We were attending a wedding nearby so decided to rent a house instead of staying in a hotel since we needed 3 bedrooms. This house was perfect. Clean and comfortable with plenty to do nearby. We had fun walking 6 miles on nearby trails and had lunch at Bad Martha’s Brewery. Other than that were busy with wedding activities. Thanks Kevin for your hospitality!

An absolutely beautiful home cant wait to go back

Our stay at this beautiful, private and pristine home was exactly the trip we needed It exceeded our expectations, couldn’t of asked for a better location, so close to beach, trails ,stores and restaurants, but so very private if you want to stay low key Kevin was such an amazing host , any questions I had he answered within minutes and also provided a binder full of info including restaurants, directions to beaches , trails , etc it was very helpful Our check in was a breeze we walked in and were greeted with gorgeous views , beautiful decor and it was spotless and smelled so good and clean Already looking at dates to go back asap If you want a spotless spacious home with a beautiful two level private deck , close to beach and everything else you need or want on a vacation, this is definitely the place to stay If I could give 10 stars I would.

Beautiful winter getaway

We loved the cottage and the area. There are great walking trails nearby, the neighborhood is nice and quiet, and it was a super home base from which to explore. The house is well kitted out with kitchen items, linens, and supplies. Shops and such are a few minutes away. The central gas fireplace is especially cozy in colder weather. Definitely recommended.

New Years at the Cape

First visit to the Cape. Kevin was a great host, communication was immediate. The house was central to many spots we had on our list. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend this house. The reviews tell it all!

Perfect for Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard

The outdoor shower, the outdoor fire table, the deck and the two-sided fireplace was absolutely fabulous
. The house was set up for a great vacation. My only complaint was that going down to the basement to do laundry or to put up the trash that there was no handrail. But, we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

The property was located in a central area for us. It was just as described from the VRBO post. The house has a very nice expansive deck with a fire pit. I would rent there again if on the Cape.

Bucolic setting with all the comforts of home

We came to Mashpee because of the beauty and relaxation Cape Cod is known for, not to mention its proximity to Falmouth where my debut novel was set. The house and area didn't disappoint. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

What a lovely stay!

Thanks so much for making your stay so easy. This house has everything a guess would need to relax and enjoy their vacation. Lots of hiking trails for dogs, families would enjoy a huge deck with a grill and fire pit for socializing, shooing and and restaurants are nearby. So convenient.
