The hotel itself is mostly fine, with a good location and a nice view. The staff, however, were the worst among our eight stays in Sri Lanka. They werenât friendly or helpful and had a clear âwhat do you wantâ attitude. They even woke us at 10 p.m. to ask what breakfast we wanted, which is unacceptable.
The âwestern breakfastâ was just buttered toast, and it took 40 minutes, even though every simpler place offered more. They mentioned eggs as well, but after 40 minutes nothing appeared, and there were no other guests.
The Wi-Fi was very weak and essentially unusable, and the few pillows provided were the least weâve encountered anywhere in Sri Lanka â my neck still hurts from it.
