Overall, nice but lacking
The cabin is generally nice. It looks like it hasn't been used much recently. The kitchenette was extremely small but works if you're not wanting to fix much while there. My biggest complaint was the lack of cleanliness. It looked okay when you first entered, though I did have to remove a wasp nest from the front and back doors. If you looked a little closer, the place was dusty, and there were old spider webs in the corners of the bedroom and bathroom. The worst part was mouse droppings in the drawer with the kitchen utensils. If I'm paying a cleaning fee, my expectation is for the place to be clean. There should be no reason a guest has to check for cleanliness and wash kitchen items before they can be used. Would I return? Maybe, but only after confirming the place was actually ready for guests. We did also have a small issue with the oven, and the host was prompt in responding and addressing that issue.
