Welcome to S'More Fun Mountain Lodge! **Under new ownership - with thoughtful upgrades throughout!

Tucked beneath a canopy of trees, this cozy lodge is idyllic mountain vibes! Mornings begin with coffee on the sun porch. Evenings are for gathering—playing games around the table, s’mores by the fire pit, or simply watching deer wander through the woods, just beyond the patio.

Come and enjoy a relaxing stay while surrounded by plenty to do!

Inside, the space is warm, relaxed, and designed for connection, with three bedrooms comfortably hosting up to 10 guests. Whether it’s a family getaway or a weekend with friends, there’s room for everyone and all the memories you’ll make!

And when you’re ready to explore, everything Massanutten Resort has to offer is right outside your door—from the Indoor/Outdoor Waterpark and Family Adventure Park to golf, hiking trails, and the mountain coaster. Close to it all, yet it still feels like your own private escape in the woods.

As our guests, you will have access to our community pool which is open Memorial day through Labor Day. The pool features a diving board, lounging space, snack bar and ice cream stand. We do provide pool towels!

It’s summer concert and festival season here on the mountain. Please check the resort website for schedule.

WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN!
This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners
Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA
neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including
families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat.
NOISE
‱ Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
‱ Keep noise indoors during these hours.
‱ No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.
PARKING
‱ Keep all tires off the road.
‱ Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your
host.
‱ Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840)
‱ No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is available with
written approval from your host.
OUTDOOR FIRES
‱ High wildfire risk area!
‱ No open fires.

‱ No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
‱ Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions, check

Super cute place. Beautiful location and would totally book again. Easy layout and close to the slopes of you’re interested in that. Literally the only “complaint” would be that they don’t have dish towels or hands towels for the kitchen. Everything else though is completely provided. We had an issue with check in due to the website but the renters got to us swiftly and fixed the issue. Wonderful place!

Communication with the host/property manager was great. The cabin was cute and super close to everything at Massanutten. Loved that it was dog friendly. We don't have a dog but family that was also staying at the resort were able to bring their dog over for dinner, which was nice. The house was very clean and comfortable, my kids loved the bunk beds. The foosball room was too cold in the winter but would be great if we come again in the summer.

Enjoyed the stay! We stayed for the Spartan race weekend. Close proximity to the race. Made s’mores at the fire pit. All bedrooms on one level and close proximity was great for our family needs. Foosball was fun! Didn’t like how far away the trash drop off was. Coffee maker had to be held in place by hand to work. A panel in bathroom kept falling off. Bring your own bath products

Our group of 3 adults stayed for JMU's family weekend, and this house suited our needs well. The check-in process was clear and smooth, and we didn't have any issues during our stay. The house was clean, and all of the appliances and utilities worked as expected. We didn't do any of the Massanutten activities, but the house was conveniently located to them. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. The size was great for our family of five. We really enjoyed the backyard and firepit. The house is also very close to the entrance of the Masanutten property so you do not have to drive far to get to the waterpark or go in to town.

Communication with Keven was amazing. PRO's The place was cute, the beds and pillows were very comfy, CON's the amount of dog hair, dust and dirt was unreal! I walked from the room to the living room and the bottom of my feet were disgusting! This can be an easy fit with a new cleaning company!!

Anniversary weekend

This was our 35 Wedding Anniversary get away. My husband owns his own business, and it is incredibly difficult to get any time away. He had been wanting to see Monticello and the see the Skyline Drive. We chose this cabin primarily because it was pet friendly. We used to board our dogs for vacation but this year we had to say goodbye to our oldest. We didn't have the heart to board Diamond by herself. We liked that it was in a quiet community with some privacy and distance between houses. I loved the floor plan and how the rooms flowed. It has a wide welcoming entry way with wide doorways. The dining space is very large and flowed right into the kitchen and family room. The furniture is very comfortable. I'm always looking for places that have furniture my husband can kick back and comfortably watch TV. With two bathrooms, my husband and I each got to have our very own bathroom! The king-sized bed was very comfortable and the view into the woods was peaceful. The showers have plenty of water pressure. This community has so much to offer in entertainment and restaurants. We can recommend the Campfire Grill. They have an extensive menu and lovely patio dining as well. The community also sponsors free live music events, paint and Sips etc. It had been a while since we'd booked any trips on VRBO and I had some technical/communication difficulties. Kevin was very patient and responsive and went as far as a personal follow up phone call. We would stay here again!

Has Great Potential

The size and location of the home were wonderful! The decor is adorable and the foosball table was a hit. The sinks in both bathrooms do not drain well, the Queen bed fell apart on us and had to be put back together twice. One of the sets of bunks squeaks every move you make. A fan in the living room has no pull cord so you cannot turn off without also turning the lights off. One night of our stay the tv did not work at all. One of the lamps the bulb leans against the shade and the plates and silverware could use an update. The back seating area had not been cleaned off recently and everything was just piled up in a corner.

Spring break in Massanutten

Property was as advertised, in a quiet neighborhood in Massanutten. Kids loved the fooseball table and bunk beds. Small hiccup in checking in (I had to call property manager for the door code because I never got the email with instructions). The house was mostly clean, but there were clean towels left in the washer, leftover food in the pantry, and old coffee left in the coffee maker. Not a big deal...Overall, the price point was very affordable for our spring break in early April. Kids keep asking to go back to the "cabin!"
