Extremely clean, comfortable room, well located but with access limited by being on a very busy corner where parking for taxis or cars is a challenge and locals had a problem finding it.. is is very challenging to walk from the hotel as the main street is very steep and the other one is a very busy thoroughfare. Breakfast could be better, poor presentation and lacking diversity. Colombia has an abundance of fruits and here they chose artificial juices which is deplorable. Kind staff. There’s a small sandwich outlet across the hotel lobby that serves great dishes.

This hotel offers some stunning views and my room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. We had a corner king room on the 3rd floor which offered a picturesque panoramic view of downtown Medellín. The roof top bar and pool area offers plenty of shade and delicious selections from the restaurant. The continental breakfast has options for all sorts of dietary restrictions and offers different choices from day to day - from typical Colombian "Calentado" (Usually a mixture of rice, beans, some meat, and some potato), to an assortment of baked goods that are more familiar to the North American/European palate. There are several food options within a very short walking distance of the hotel - such as a delicious coffee shop (Tostao), and an AMAZING fine-dining seafood restaurant (El Discovery)!!! There is a very large and beautifully designed shopping mall (Premium Plaza) about 5 minutes away in a car, or about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Walking around the hotel (and the city of Medellín in general) is NOT for the faint of heart. The city is nestled in the mountains and the streets/sidewalks reflect that. What seems like a short walk on Google Maps may take you through a route that could involve elevation changes of more than 200ft. Taxis are very easily obtained from the front desk... and they're cheap enough compared to American/European prices that they're well worth taking them while exploring the city. Great hotel, beautiful city, endless memories!!!
