When we arrived, the hotel room had a strong smoky smell, which we tried to ignore. Unfortunately, things only got worse. Our room was extremely noisy—running and screaming in the hallway well past 10:30 PM. We called the front desk, but they claimed they didn’t hear anything and did nothing. The noise continued until midnight, and our bed was shaking repeatedly. We called again—same response, no follow-up.
At 5:45 AM, we were jolted awake by the bed shaking again, and then again at 6:10 AM. When we called, the front desk dismissed it, saying it was “probably just the wind” (which was minimal). Later that morning, we went down to speak in person. No apology, no offer to move us—just “the people are probably gone now.” When we told them we were getting a refund through our booking agency, the response was simply “okay bye.”
This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had: poor customer service, dismissive staff, and zero accountability. Absolutely do not recommend.
