Ocean Whispers Sorrento - Complimentary late checkout on Sundays (Pet Friendly)

Traditional beach house tucked away on a bushy block that is in the perfect location for a family holiday, walking distance to beach and main strip of shops but far enough away from the hustle and bustle in peak season. Beautiful large gardens and decked area to sit back and relax with some great local wines and cheese.

The house has three large bedrooms and central area that encompasses the kitchen, lounge and dining which all open to front entertaining deck with a very inviting daybed looking over the large front yard. Out the back is large bushy yard with lots of space for kids and paved area with BBQ and full outdoor setting to chill out and watch magnificent sunsets and listen to the ocean crashing on the back beach.

All pets welcome we are a dog friendly family.

Caters well for multiple young children i.e twins and toddlers - there are two permant cots and two porta cots. bunk beds, change tables, high chairs, toys, scooter. Ideal to sleep 6 comfortably 8 people for a couple of nights. One bathroom.

Great location

Great spot . Kerry was very good at communicating and making it easy . The place next door had a lot of parties late at night and quite noisy which was difficult for kids to sleep but no fault of this property .

Fabulous dog friendly holiday home

Perfect house to relax and enjoy with family, both human and four legged. Close enough to walk into Sorrento but beautifully quiet when you’re there. Fabulous fenced garden for the dogs.

Fab break

A last minute, mid-winter break that was made so very special by a wonderful, welcoming home in the most stunning corner of the peninsula. The house is cosy, clean, well equipped and stylish - but very liveable. Gorgeous, well-fenced gardens that blend in with the natural environment provided the back drop to a lazy Saturday afternoon of cheese, vino and friends dropping by. Highly recommended and we hope to return very soon!

Great for the older dogs! Lovely heating; we were very warm. Great sunshine in the windows. Still managed to cook a roast even though the electricity was challenging. All the instructions were spot on! Thank you. Will definitely visit again.

This place was perfect for our two doggos. The front yard is big with secure fencing. The house was comfortable in a great location and super quiet. We loved our mini break there and look forward to going back. Thanks so much for having us :)

A great little shack at Sorrento

We stayed at this little gem for five nights over March 2022. The communication from Kerry was very good, its a spacious three bedroom place with aircon, and comfy beds. It has all the little quirks for what a shack should be, brought back memories for when we used to stay down at the beach as kids. We had a 6 month old with us and Kerry was very accommodating. The house is super closer to the Portsea and Sorrento pubs, the street is super quiet. The veranda is perfect for watching the sunset over a nice glass of something.

No towels. No doona cover, no pillow cases. Only a bottom sheet and had to make the bed myself. Very disappointing, lady was very nice and apologetic but still couldnt supply the basics

Great place for one family

Basic but great house in lovely location, a few issues with receiving check in info a bit late but no biggie. Our dog loved the big yard but had a few issues with grass burrs in his long coat

Like a Day at the Beach

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We have a large greyhound and finding accommodations for holidays with him can be difficult. Kerry was very accommodating, and the dog was thrilled to have plenty of fenced space to run and take morning walks to the beach. The house was comfortable and perfectly located for a brief walk to town or either the bayside or back beach. It was just the three of us, but there seemed to be plenty of space for a family get away. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend

Kerry is a fantastic owner and her beach house is the perfect destination for us and our pet dog. Fully fenced with a huge front and back yard. Plenty of sleeping accommodation for 8 people with the most comfortable beds. Our annual getaway each year, just love our relaxed times in the gorgeous front balcony where I also work from laptop. Fire pit in the backyard for some fun gatherings as well. Booking again for next year!

Ocean Whispers - absolutely

My husband and cocker spaniel just spent a delightful 4 nights at this property. Location is just perfect nestled in the tea trees sitting on the front deck with a cheese platter and glass if wine during the late afternoon. Then light the BBQ and fire pit in the bak garden in the evening and you can hear the ocean and watch the sun go down just beautiful. Thanks Kerry we had a wonderful time.

A fabulous old-style home rental. We felt just as if we were living in some one else's house. Kerry was a fantastic host, and really helped us feel relaxed and at home. The garden is wild and wonderful. A brilliant location, with walks to the front and back beaches. We LOVED the rock pools on the back beach

We had a family wedding in Sorrento and needed a house that would accommodate 6 family members & our two dogs. Kerry’s house was perfect. Great location in a quiet street and close proximity to the Main Street. The grounds were secure for our dogs and the house very clean & comfortable. Highly recommended.
