Came back as had a good experience the week before. Staff at the desk were not efficient and not accommodating. Once again forgot my wine. But I had actually suggested to a colleague to stay and she was declined a room change, and complained of the noise and didn’t appreciate the service. So I felt let down and most likely won’t be back based on this trip.

Amazing new hotel right on the doorstep of Queen Victoria Market - walk out the front door in the morning and fantastic coffee and pastries are right there! The room was very comfortable and modern and the rainforest shower was so good. Minimal noise (considering the location) which seemed to disappear about 9.30pm. Highly recommended.

Great stay

Very convenient - right next to markets and tram stop. Very clean with all facilities. However could not use the car charger as it was not for a TESLA. Managed to find a power point which worked fine.

Lovely place to stay in the CBD and walk or take the tram to shop, eat, and sightsee. Nice room and the kitchenette is a plus. The staff is fantastic.

Upon arrival we were put into a ground floor suite that didn’t match the superior suite we had booked on Expedia. When questioned about it we were told the hotel was booked up and nothing could be done. Once in the room we soon realized the air conditioning unit was not working. Melbourne was having a heat wave and it was uncomfortable. They were unable to fix it but we agreed to stay one night there and they’d move us into another room for the next three nights. They did honor this change. The second room did match the description of what we paid for which was nice. The air conditioning worked mostly. But both rooms were lacking in cleanliness. The mini kitchens didn’t have plates or dish soap. The microwaves in both rooms were dirty from previous guest. The bathroom in the first unit was pretty dirty. There were rings of filth on the shower faucet. The pool is great and it’s a great location. I really was expecting much more from this place when I booked.
