Then the 50m Pacific Ocean frontage has spectacular views to Port Vila & Hideaway Island. The 5-bedroom modern Villa is open plan with high ceilings. A generously sized pool, outdoor gazebo & external BBQ provide for holiday entertaining. The Villa comes with a gardener & house girl. Staff quarters are set away from the house.

Imagine being transported to an island retreat designed to have you unplug from the hustle and bustle of your daily life so you can relax and unwind. Qualius was created to provide guests with an experience that elevates your senses while calming our thoughts.

As a guest at Qualius, you enter through the gates of the retreat to see manicured gardens beneath a 100-year-old tropical rain-forest canopy. Bestowed before you is an array of tropical plants and flowers creating a sense of peace and tranquility. As you travel down the 200m driveway, you’ll see tropical fruit trees like bananas, pawpaw, mangoes, pineapple, limes, lemons, coconuts, grapefruit and passion fruit for guests to enjoy when in season. Sprinkled around the gardens are our local chickens in which guests get to enjoy the fresh organic eggs.

Then, as you reach the house, you’ll witness the sea which is often a kaleidoscope of blues and greens. Your private 270-degree view of the sea is yours to enjoy. You’ll feel the stresses of life disappear by the cooling breeze and you’ll breathe a sigh of relief in the knowledge that this 2.5 acres of lush, manicured gardens and blue seas, yours to enjoy during your stay. The almost ‘all day’ breeze caresses and cools you while you enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail sitting under the hand-crafted nakamal. The constant fresh breeze often means that ceiling fans are more than enough to make your stay comfortable.

Feeling hot? … guests can enjoy the exclusive use of the swimming pool to cool off.

Feel like snorkeling? … guests have direct access down to what is called a marine sanctuary. You’ll spot the occasional pod of dolphins, turtles and schools of fish passing by.

When on holidays, you should NOT have to clean up, wash dishes or make your bed. At Qualius, you’ll have a full-time house attendant to take care of it for you. Instead, it is our mantra that you and your fellow travelers relax, unwind and spend quality time together.

Wifi is included but not recommended. At Qualius, we prefer you use the wifi sparingly, so you have more time to unplug and enjoy your private sanctuary and time with family and/or friends. As you enter the front door to check into your private retreat, you’ll be wowed by the breath-taking crystal blue waters of Mele Bay through the by-fold doors.

With an open plan lounge and dining, you’ll have all the space you need to make yourself at home. For those of you who enjoy whipping up your favourite gourmet meals, you’ll love the fully equipped master chef kitchen.

To commence your stay at Qualius, we recommend you begin by selecting your room and unpacking your suitcase. If you prefer, we will unpack them for you. Each room is elegantly furnished so that you can relax and enjoy a sound night's sleep while being serenaded by the lapping of the gentle waves of the sea. With 4 x Queen size bedrooms, and a loft with 2 single beds, you and your guests will have the choice of either the East or West wings of the house.

East Wing – 2 x Queen Bedrooms – 1x garden view, 1x sea view

Wake up in your garden view room or enjoy the sunrise from the sea front room. Both rooms are spacious, have plenty of storage and share a common bathroom stocked with bath and pool towels.

West Wing – 2 x Queen Bedrooms – 1x garden view, 1x sea view

A large loft with 2 single beds

Should you like to pamper yourself, the sea view room in the West Wing, contains a bathtub for two, for you to soak in, while sipping on a glass of your favourite bottle of bubbles, admiring the view over Mele Bay from the window. Whereas you can marvel at the sunset from the garden view room. Both rooms in the West Wing are spacious with plenty of storage and share a bathroom stocked with bath and pool towels.

Location: Qualius is a short 15 min drive from the airport and is 20 mins from town.

Our full-time house attendant Rosie will be there to greet you and help you settle in.

We recommend that you begin by unpacking your bags but if you prefer, Rosie can take care of that for you.

The best way to get around is using the local bus network or taxis.

Please note that our house attendant, Rosie, will take care of the house during your stay. She will make the beds, wash dishes and tidy up as required. However, Rosie does not work on Saturdays.
THERE IS NO POOL FENCE. PARENTS PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU NEED TO SUPERVISE YOUR CHILDREN AROUND THE POOL AND WATERS EDGE. NO RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE TAKEN.

No smoking in the house, can smoke outside but no butts to be thrown in the gardens or in the sea.

No glass to be used in or around the swimming pool.

Wash feet before bed to avoid staining the sheets.

No spray-on tanning creams and lotions as they stain the sheets.
