On the first floor of a charming residence, with stunning views of Lake Como, this apartment sleeps 4 people in comfort. Just a 20-minute walk (or a 5-minute drive) from the lake shore, this romantic property is ideal for a honeymoon or a family holiday.

This airy apartment has contemporary décor with an open-plan living area, and glass sliding doors out onto a shaded balcony, with panoramic lake views. The balcony is furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Back indoors there is a corner sofa and flatscreen TV. The dining table with 4 chairs is next to the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.

Open stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom.

Location
The residence is in a quiet location in the hills above Menaggio with magnificent views. There is a restaurant/pizzeria on the ground floor of the residence. There are several good restaurants nearby too. For guests who want to cook themselves, Menaggio’s farmers market takes place on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Here you will find the best local ingredients.

Guests can take a ferry from Menaggio (9 minute drive) to Varenna or on to Bellagio and spend a day in these famously beautiful towns.

For visitors who are looking for more excitement, there is Lake Como Adventures (20 minute drive), for a wide range of activities including climbing, canyoning, hiking and skiing in the winter months. In addition, guests can try sailing at Nobiallo (10 minute drive) or kite surfing at Pianello del Lario (20 minute drive).

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 45 minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport 1 hour and 30 minutes away.

Lage und Aussicht Top.Anreiseinformationen super.Appartement bei Anreise sehr sauber.Leider keine Klimaanlage (der vorhandene Stand Ventilator roch nach ca. 2 Std. immer leicht nach Rauch).Hinweise zur MĂŒllentsorgung (keine öffentlichen MĂŒllcontainer in Menaggio) wĂ€ren vorab hilfreich gewesen.

Aussicht super, Ausstattung nicht ganz so

Die Lage des Apartments und die Aussicht vom Balkon waren großartig. Die Heizung funktionierte tadellos. Die Ausstattung ließ etwas zu wĂŒnschen ĂŒbrig: Der Toaster war defekt, die Dunstabzugshaube verdreckt, es gab kein Brett, um GemĂŒse, Brot oder Fleisch zu schneiden. Sitzkissen fĂŒr die BalkonstĂŒhle fehlten. Wir mermissten auch eine Mappe mit Infos ĂŒber den Ort, Reestaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten usw.

Spectacular lake views!!

Do not miss staying in this peaceful, clean apartment for one of the best views on the lake! A truly unforgettable lake view and not obvious from the VRBO site! It is mesmerizing and special!! But, in order to get a fantastic view - the elevation means a big hike up a hill. Would recommend a car, especially if young children or older/less physically able visitors. Management were on site as they also own the Cori pizzeria beneath. Very friendly and helpful. The pizzeria was fantastic with similar lake views. (Don’t worry about noise as it closes at 9pm). There is also a great trattoria close by, so no need to brave the hill back to menaggio if tired after a long day out and looking for more dinner options! Apartment is also close to some fantastic hikes (including Breglia to Mont Grona). Will definitely be back!!!!!
