AVAILABLE AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER WEEKS REDUCED! Start texting and calling your nearest and dearest and tell them to prepare for the vacation of a lifetime. This beautiful Meredith home plus guest house rests on 6 acres of land with 285 feet of Winnipesaukee frontage. The main house boasts 4 bedrooms plus a bonus sleeping room and 3 full baths. The high ceilings and glass make for a fabulous vista looking out to the lake and mountains. The guest house offers 1 bedroom and sleeping in the 3-season room plus kitchen/dining/living room and full bath. Imagine meandering out to the deck for your morning coffee while gazing out to the lake. After breakfast, head out on the water for a morning of adventure. The dock will accommodate your boat up to 23 feet in length (owner keeps their boat on one side of the dock). Once back on shore, you can relax on the perched beach and read a book (or gossip magazine – we don’t judge) or take a snooze before heading up to barbecue some burgers and dogs for lunch. After lunch you can challenge your mates to a game of bocce ("lawn" bocce only - no court) before hitting the water again for an afternoon dip (there are stairs leading into the water from land). Want to step back inside? The main house has central A/C and the guest house has a split A/C unit. How about a game of pool in the lower-level family room? There are lots of gathering spaces inside and out for enjoying a rousing game or some quiet reflection and reconnecting. Don’t forget to think up some funny stories for around the fire pit at night while indulging in the requisite evening s’mores – remember, calories don’t count on vacation. The huge built in fire pit offers amazing views of the purple mountains and has built in seating for the whole family. So, what are you waiting for – start texting and get everyone onboard for the vacation of a lifetime! Sorry; the hot tub is off limits and can not be used.

The house is in a beautiful location (Beaver Island framed perfectly in the view), it's very easy to access the water through both steps and the dock. We also kept a rented boat on the dock, and it was very easy to get in and out. The house itself was in excellent shape, clean, well laid-out, comfortable furniture, and excellent AC (as tested on a few hot days). The front porch was used extensively from morning coffee through dinner. Just what we were looking for in a week at the lake with a multi-generational family group.

Reviewer Comments: The number of guests that this property was able to accommodate, coupled with the quality of the building itself and its furnishings, coupled with its landscape and access to the water, made it the ideal location for our extended family to have its annual vacation. The only icing on the cupcake that Would have been nice would have been for its hot tub to be functional, which I understand has been rendered unusable because they simply did not want to maintain its functionality, and perhaps some canoes or kayaks available on the property without the need for us to rent and or bring our own Would have been nice. But again, those would’ve been extremely nice to have features, but were easily overlooked given the quality of everything about this property. We would highly recommend it to large families or sets of friends who would pool their resources to vacation together in a fun, peaceful and private location with a gorgeous view.
