Modern residence located in the limits of the colonial part and the beginning of the modern city of Merida. The Classic Zone of Itzimna is characterized by being an extremely quiet and very safe place.

Casa Maria was completely restored and modernized by the love that its sole owners have for the place where they grew up and lived. Comfort and comfort, accessibility, practicality, and luxury, is the hallmark put by the owners in each of the details. A totally family house designed exclusively thinking about the tranquility and happiness of the inhabitants.

The house has 4 bedrooms equipped with air conditioning and bathroom inside the room, TV room, living room, kitchen, pool area, laundry room, and own parking for up to 4 cars .. The house is completely modernized with articles and totally new furniture. The handmade wooden dining room gives a touch of class and elegance without sacrificing the warmth of the environment.
The property was redesigned with comfort and simplicity in mind from the first day it is inhabited and is protected by a Security Alarm System.

The area
The area where it is located allows ease of movement practically to any part of the city, the distances are 20 minutes from the International Airport of the City of Merida, 10 minutes from the City Center and 5 minutes from the Commercial Places and places of entertainment, or if you want to visit the beach this is 25 minutes from the Yucatan coast being the Port of Progreso its most important point.

Nice place for a long-term stay

Our family spent two week at Juan's place in Merida. We had a great time. There’s plenty of space to spread out, and the house was very clean. Juan communicated with us very quickly to resolve a few issues we had at the beginning. It is a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to all that Merida has to offer.

Excelente estancia

Estuvimos en esta propiedad una semana. La ubicaciĂłn esta excelente si lo que quiere uno es moverse por la ciudad (no solo el centro). La casa esta muy amplia, cĂłmoda y renovada. La comunicaciĂłn con Juan siempre fue fĂĄcil y rĂĄpida.

The Birds of the Yucatan

Yucatan birds. We had no idea they created such a calming influence. We had planned on cooking, since the kitchen was pristine but ran into trouble when we found so many truly extraordinary restaurants. Lots of thing to see and places to go, most of what we did was on foot. The Mayan Museum was sensational. Allowed the ruins to be so much more fun.

Excellent location and great house for the price

The house is located in a great neighborhood which puts you close to all of central Merida. The bedrooms are huge and very clean. Juan was an excellent resource for all of my questions. I will definitely be back.

Home away from home

We had to return to Merida for medical reasons and were ecstatic that Casa Maria was available again. Juan always goes above and beyond with any help we need. It truly feels like a second home to us and the only place we want to stay while in lovely Merida. The few plumbing issues with the laundry and shower are completely fixed and everything is absolutely perfect. A real joy to stay here. Being away from home is unnerving during the Covid-19 pandemic, but staying at this house was a real comfort and helped us cope. Thank you again!

Perfect house in beautiful Merida.

We were coming to Merida for my husbands knee surgery. We needed a house that was easy to move around in. We found that, and more! From the very beginning Juan was instrumental in helping me plan our stay and transportation. The house itself is in a wonderful location. It was easy to get everywhere we needed to in a short time. A very safe neighbourhood. We were amazed at how large the house actually is! There was more than enough room for our family stay and be comfortable. The outdoor patio and pool area was an added bonus and a wonderful place for my husband to rest. The house is beautifully furnished, but still very comfortable. We will definitely come back to Merida and your house will always be our first choice! Just a note to future renters...the shower in the room near the laundry works the best. Warmest and best pressure. And there is only hot water piped into the laundry room. Everything was perfect with the house and any minor plumbing issue is related to the actual infrastructure of the city and has nothing to do with the the house. That is a common issue in most areas of Mexico and this house has much better plumbing than most. We absolutely loved our home away from home! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for making our trip so much easier.

Casa Maria is a delightful home that is perfect for families / friends to share during their visit to Merida. All 4 bedrooms have their own baths and are air conditioned. The house was recently renovated with exceptional design and detail. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.

Modern Luxury Home in Quiet Location

This is a beautiful and spacious house. A tremendous amount of thought went into designing this house with comfort and luxury blended with modern furnishing and decor. There are 4 large bedrooms with air conditioning and their own private bathroom. The backyard oasis to start your day off with morning coffee, fresh fruit, and pastries, was relaxing, cool, and quiet. The location is really the star, despite the comfort and luxuries of the house, you are in short walking distance to so many great cafe’s and restaurants in the area and uber is very reasonable to Costco and supermarkets for groceries. What a gorgeous house!! We were welcomed by Juan, who speaks perfect English, and is very kind, and knowledgeable. He took the time to show us around the house, discussed with us places to walk, eat and day-trip. Juan is an amazing and professional person. He made sure we had everything we needed and then some and always kept in touch with us and our needs. We have nothing but good things to say about the house, Juan, the neighborhood, and this particular corner of the Yucatan. We truly enjoyed our month's stay and are looking forward to our return. Muchas gracias Juan!

Casa Maria is one of the best houses we have ever stayed at by far. It is a beautiful home with plenty of space and very clean. Don Juan was readily available whenever we needed something and was very courteous. Highly recommend this house.
