An Authentic Beachfront Villa on the Gulf of Mexico
There are vacation rentals, and then there are homes with a story.
Welcome to Casa Saltwater Cowboy, one of the original beachfront villas on this quiet stretch of the Yucatán coast. Built in the 1950s and thoughtfully updated over the years, the home was designed long before modern beach houses became rows of low-ceiling concrete boxes. Here, soaring ceilings, generous gathering spaces, handcrafted Mexican details, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere invite you to slow down, reconnect, and experience the Gulf of Mexico at its own unhurried pace.
Whether you're planning a multi-generational family vacation, a reunion with friends, a fishing trip, or simply escaping winter for sunshine and sea breezes, Casa Saltwater Cowboy offers the rare combination of authentic Mexican architecture, privacy, and space for everyone to be together.
A Home Designed for Gathering
From the moment you walk through the private gates, you'll notice that this isn't a typical beach house.
The dramatic two-story living area, split-level design, expansive terraces, and high ceilings create a feeling of openness rarely found in newer construction. Every room was designed to capture natural light and the cooling Gulf breezes.
The villa comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests with 9 real beds spread across five spacious bedrooms.
