Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Getting to our room; the bathroom vent didn’t work, sink didn’t drain, bathtub drained very slow and the shower head sprayed every direction except down. The AC unit hardly worked. Had it set at 65° and was sleeping on top of the sheets and still sweating!
Numerous cockroaches in the room and when we complained to the front desk they said we had to file a written report with the security office on the other side of the hotel/casino (what do BUGS have to do with security, isn’t that a cleanliness issue).
Have to walk through the casino to get to the restaurants which I thought with a juvenile was illegal.
3 restaurants and not a very big selection on the menus. There used to be a buffet, but not anymore. The floors of the restaurant we went to (Joe’s) were sticky and very disgusting.
Our waiter was very nice, however spread way too thin and what should have taken us 45 minutes to go in, eat and leave took about an hour and a half. Just to get ketchup & mustard for my burger I had to wait 20 minutes and had to ask twice (the restaurant wasn’t even 1/2 full AND we were told there was a 20 minute waiting list to get in to a table).
Have service dog and there is nowhere on the property for her to do her “business” or bags to clean up after.
VERY DISAPPOINTED with our stay at CasaBlanca Resort as opposed to our 2024 stay which is why we chose to stay there again.
Won’t make that mistake again. (What happened?! Did they get new management? If so, they need to be reconsidered).
