This was poor experience overall. The biggest problem for us was a lack of info about how anything worked. In our experience for any short-term rental there is a binder with lots of information (stove pilot, where to dump trash, TV, etc)Before we could worry about that we were greeted with an uncomfortable ambient temperatureâŠtoo hot! There was one filthy elec portable fan in the apartment that worked but just pushed the hot air around.I contacted VRBO and asked to switch to an apartment with air conditioning (no air conditioning in this modern building with 40 floors!! Our apt was west-facing and so uncomfortably hot all day long. We were offered another fan they brought to us on day#3 and the concierge asked me if I wanted her to assemble it!We req a cleaner for fan AND the moldy gasket in the washing machine. The fan grill filled with lint and hair was never touched by the cleaner and it looked like they TRIED to clean the mold on the washing machine gasket but it must be permanent because the black stain was embedded in the rubber and smelled VERY bad!Not enough room to explain about how the pilot lights on stove didnât work (even after I sent them a video at their request). I was never allowed to talk to the concierge onsite directly, only via their messaging app. So much back & forth, all documented in my phone. And no hangers! They brought some days later. The only good thing was the elevators were fast! Will never stay at VRBO again.
The check in process was smooth. The apartment was perfect with amazing views of the city. Great locations with restaurants and sites to visit. I would totally recommend. Complex has a great gym, pool area and jacuzzi. Friendly staff.
The host was very kind, and responsive to messages. Thank you for making my vacation great
