Basic stay. Thin walls so up late and early

Very basic stay. Hotel restaurants are ridiculously overpriced and room has very basic amenities. Towels are old and not soft and woke every morning early to the staff vacuuming the halls. Doors and walls are very very thin too so do not expect a good night of sleep.

Beautiful, clean property across from the University. Rooms were super nice, but it's obvious a woman didn't design. It would be perfect if, in addition to being beautiful, it were functional. The main room lighting is nonexistent, except for a floor lamp, a bedside lamp, and reading lights. The large mirror in the room is great except that there are zero electric outlets near it. So if you want to get ready while someone else is in the bathroom, you are really stuck. The bathroom is nice and the tile was really pretty, but the mirror lighting was awful and the shower head water pressure was surprisingly low. Overall, it was a beautiful, clean hotel, just could use some tips on functionality, especially for women

Room, property is very nice. Staff generally friendly and helpful. The restaurants are ridiculously overpriced, and one of our meals at Mamey was so salty it was inedible (we told the waiter this, and were only told “sorry”. He made no attempts to offer another item or refund the cost of the menu item.) LOTS of hidden charges. Usual room cost via Expedia for 3 nights, which supposedly included all extra fees and taxes - was ~$590. After paying all the charges at check-in, I still had more to pay at check out. There was a daily “guest amenity fee” ($27/day - supposedly the charge for WiFi, exercise room, and access to free water in the lobby??), and self parking for 3 days ($36/night), which amounted to over $200 more for 3 nights!! Upfront pricing and transparency would have been helpful.
