One of Beachwalk’s premier properties, this gorgeous home is located across the street from Lake Kai, within walking distance to everything Beachwalk has to offer, most notably, Lake Michigan.

Every room in this house opens to a porch or deck.

The first floor bright and cheerful living room, an at home feel - kitchen, and dining are all oriented to a large corner fireplace and flat-screen TV.

The first-floor master suite, elegant and bright, has a queen bed, beautiful bath and ample room to move about.

The second floor has king master suite that opens onto deck, twin room with two twin beds, queen room and library that opens to a porch with views of the community and Lake Kai.

This house sleeps 8 with one king, two queens, and two twins.

RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity.
4ft heated pool*, toddler pool*, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard*, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding* and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September.

This house rents out with a seven-night minimum between mid-June to mid-August with check-in and check-out on Friday.

Highly Recommend The Doc's Inn

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house. It was our second year staying there because it was just right for our family. We especially appreciated the bedroom setup with each having a private bathroom. We were very close to the playground and had access to Lake Kai nearby as well. It was nice having plenty of parking space for our cars and golf cart. We spent lots of time on the comfy and bright screened porch. The only problem we had was that the grill was dirty and a good sized fire flared under the grate when we tried to use it. We also had concerns about the monitoring of the golf cart usage. Many youngsters(underage) were driving way too fast considering all of the pedestrian traffic in tight spaces.

A great choice

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A great choice for 3-4 couples. It’s spacious, very clean and pretty well located (10 minutes or less walk to the beach). We loved the screened porch with fans. It’s also across the street from the pretty boardwalk at Lake Kai, a nice way to walk to the pool. 
PROS: well taken care of, nice linens and towels, tastefully decorated, well supplied, There’s space for 4 cars (unless you rent a golf cart which takes up a space).

The management company is very responsive. Tom from maintenance came over right away after hours for two issues, and resolved them quickly.
The kitchen is well supplied with kitchen equipment, very nice dishes (as well as lots of kid dishes) and plenty of flatware.

TIPS This property doesn’t include a golf cart, so we rented one If you plan to rent a golf cart, you’ll need a heavy duty extension cord so that you can reach the outdoor plug. There’s also a wagon. 

Kitchen was very clean when we arrived- so no leftover staples. There is salt, pepper and some vegetable oil. We brought our own spices but you can just go the large grocery store on Rt. 12, 10minutes away. Also good to bring: some extra dishwasher and washing machine pods.
Seating. We had 4 couples, and the kitchen table/banquette would not comfortably seat 8 adults. Wish we had a table that worked for 8.
Overall- terrific rental!

A really nice house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great! It was very clean and well supplied with everything my family needed. We had 6 adults and 2 children under 6. The wagon was great to have when we went to the beach and there were a couple of beach chairs that we weren't expecting to have. We loved the fact that it had a bathroom attached to each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable too! We especially loved the screened in front porch and spent a good deal of time there! The location was nice as we were close to Lake Kai and the playground. There was a nice crib in the master bedroom closet, but it would have been nice to be able to move it elsewhere. We didn't think it would fit out the door. We brought a port-a-crib for our granddaughter and didn't use it as she slept in the twin bed room near her parents' room with her brother, but if you are planning to use it, it's good to know that fact.

Great Location on the main road with more parking spaces than most of the homes out there. Only complaint is that it was not well supplied in the kitchen like most rentals. No supplies for cooking like salt/pepper, cooking oil, etc... No starter coffee, no sugar. You must bring every single thing needed for any meals. Also, no beach chairs or pool/beach toys like most homes. It is not required nor listed that the homes have these things, but after renting in Beachwalk for 15+ years, we found that most do. There was a red wagon for taking things to the beach.

Perfect location for a COVID type of vacation

It was great being able to go to the beach or go to the pool in the early morning. I was able to take a power walk every morning and see the amazing houses in the area. Wish we had brought bikes. We cooked every meal at the house, which was awesome! Only downside is house does not have beach chairs or water float items. That would be a nice add.

The furniture is all high quality, each bedroom has its own bathroom and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I would recommend the house and community to anyone!

Lovely property, but management issues

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a refrigerator not cooling properly upon arrival. I complained, and repair people were sent out. It was not resolved for days, and when I asked mgt. to contact me regarding a partial refund, they never did. I wanted to communicate with them about a credit to our account I felt due to us because we were inconvenienced over the weekend by needing to keep food in a cooler and then needed to toss food due to concern over spoilage. We also had an infestation of large ants mid-week. The mgt. never bothered to respond to my issue of a partial refund to cover the inconvenience of the ants and broken refrigerator. This is not a good way to foster repeat customers. Shame on you! And too bad, because we really enjoy the property and environment.

Reviewer Comments: We were a family of 7 adults and two 3-year-olds, and the house functioned beautifully. Everyone had their own bath, which offered wonderful privacy. With approval of the staff, we invited a few relatives for a barbeque and the house and porch worked beautifully for a larger group. The staff also found one of our visitors a pet sitter; they couldn't have been more cooperative. We also enjoyed the facilities although the weather during our stay was not too good. However, on the sunny days, we enjoyed the close access to the beach. Our only minor issue - the house has a weird and small coffee maker!

What's up w/Doc

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have stayed at 8 other properties over the years and 'The Doc's Inn' was by far the best appointed. Kitchen had plenty of towels, pots, pans & cooking items, etc. Higher end furniture, not just someone's cast offs. All beds very comfortable. Tv's in all bedrooms plus one in study. Only down side, master TV is only about 8-10"! A nice flat screen would have been nice. House stayed nice & cool w/dbl therm for up/downstairs on 90+ days. Great w/every bdrm having own bath plus a half to spare. Fire pit &'golf cart would be great addition. We rented a cart, quite a haul to beach.
