Restmere Cottage is a perfectly appointed newly renovated home just a mile from the beaches and is fully equipped for all your vacation needs. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood this BOHO chic styled cottage is perfectly sized for a couple’s vacation up to a large family retreat. This property is perfect for entertaining with all new furnishings. The main floor includes a large living room with multiple couches, comfy seating and a large TV with cable, premium channels and multiple console hookups... bring your favorite gaming devices. Also on the main floor is a dining area with a circular dining table that opens up to expand for a large family gathering. From the dining area enter the spacious kitchen with all new appliances and an eat in nook perfect for your morning coffee. Looking to spend a quiet night in? This kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal just bring the ingredients. Each of the three bedrooms has plugs and USB ports perfectly placed for your bed side table, new wall mounted TVs with cable and premium movie channels and a seating area so you can escape to your own room if needed. No detail has been overlooked. Along with the main floor living room there is a second large living room with a slider door out to a wood deck with patio furniture and a spacious private fenced in back yard. There is even a separate game/living room with a vintage Foosball table along with other games. Both living areas and the game room have TV's with cable, premium channels and couches with queen sized pull out beds. That makes this property able to sleep up to 12 people comfortably if needed. And don't over pack there is a full size washer and dryer available for guest use. Restmere Cottage is close to all the local Newport attractions but with a house like this you might never leave. The house has a unique layout—multiple little floors with cute furniture and places to lounge. With all of the pullout couches in the house we could’ve had twice as many people as we did (we had 5). Our stay in Newport was a rainy one, so we were glad to have a cozy house to sprawl out in. The neighborhood was super quiet—we never saw the neighbors—and it’s such an easy and quick ride to all the Newport hot spots. We had a malfunctioning smoke detector and the property manager reached out before I even had a chance to call him and he got it taken care of promptly. Water in the main bathroom shower gets scalding hot so be careful

This place fit our needs perfectly for our family's short two-night stay. Really quiet neighborhood, and plenty of bedrooms. Con was super responsive answering a question that I had. Highly recommend it!

Great Place/ Great Stay

The house was beautifully decorated in a nice quiet location.Every room also had A/C and tv’s. So comfy. It was easily accessible to the Cliff Walk/ beach and downtown Newport. A couple of items to note; the upstairs bedroom with the bathroom attached- the sink’s water pressure was very weak. Hopefully, there is a way to fix it. Also, the bedrooms had no shades or curtains. That might be something to add. Our family are not early risers so it was a tad bright at 6:00am. Otherwise, the owners did a great job with the property! We had an awesome time.

Photos are deceiving!

Fantastic property and location. Close to beaches and easy drive to grocery stores. We held off on planning this trip due to covid, and our options were very limited. We were all nervous that the 10 of us were going to be on top of each other in what we thought was going to be, a very small house. The photos on this post do the house no justice! We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked in and realized how spacious and spread out everything was. All of the rooms in the house were considerably larger than we expected. It was incredibly clean, and we'll stocked with towels and linens. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, but the posting does not say that there is, so that was my own fault for not realizing!

Lovely house and location

The stay was lovely, I enjoyed the house! I wouldn't say its walking-distance from town, but it was just a 10-20 minute drive away. The house had ample spaces to sleep and sit, the kitchen was stocked and mostly clean. There were a good amount of towels and there were even hotel sized toiletries in every room. We did use the laundry which worked well. The AC was easy to use and there was lots of space for parking in the driveway. Check-in was simple but I only received check-in instructions about 30 minutes prior and there were still landscapers there after the 4pm check-in time. The backyard was not cleaned, the patio and patio furniture was very dirty and covered in leaves. There was a dead animal in the lawn; the landscapers had just been there to mow and I guess didn't notice. This was disappointing because we had a big dinner planned in the back since it was nice out! Overall, I'll give the house 4/5 stars for being a nice big house with lots of amenities but for as much as we pay for cleaning on these sites, I expected more.

The house was beautifully decorated and immaculate. We easily fit 10 people with the use of the three sofa beds. Although we did little cooking, it looked like everything you would need is provided. Easy drive to downtown Newport, the Cliff Walk, and a beach. Great place to stay.

Newport Marathon Rental

We had a pleasant stay, the house was actually more impressive than it was in the pictures which is usually the opposite😊. Very clean and spacious with TVs in every room loaded with all the streaming services to boot. Very conveniently located to Easton Beach which is the start of the race( about a mile) and to downtown Newport as well. Would highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful home with so many amenities. The owner is so gracious and so easy to get in contact with. Con was very helpful for every situation we had. We recommend this home for families with older children not toddlers because of the 4 levels. 🤗

Amazing house, 10/10 recommend

This house was everything we imagined it to be and more. The pictures don’t do it justice, and they’re great! The house is so beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for air mattresses. We had a group of girls and we were all able to get ready and have enough space to not feel crowded. Close to the beaches and an easy Uber down town. We definitely will be renting again and cannot say enough good things about this property.

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was the perfect house for us. Beautiful house, very clean and spacious. There were 9 of us and we all had a comfortable place to sleep. We loved the outdoor fenced in backyard. It was the perfect spot to chat and play a game of corn hole. We were very happy with our stay here and will definitely be coming back!

Girls getaway

We booked this rental for a girls getaway in Newport. Con was very responsive from the moment we booked. The house is ADORABLE! We were obsessed with the decor, spaciousness, and location. We were only a short drive to Middletown which has amazing restaurants and Newport Vineyards and about a 10 minute drive to Newport. The layout of the house was perfect for our group. Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend

We had a group of 8 which can be hard to get a house for that size in the Newport area without spending way too much. Although there are only 3 bedrooms, the downstairs has a pullout couch and it’s own bathroom so it was perfect for a bedroom. Everything was clean and the house is really cute. Easy Uber ride to downtown Newport as well.

Girls weekend

This house was perfect for a girls weekend! There was plenty of room for all of us and the house felt so cozy and welcoming. The backyard was little and cute to enjoy on a nice spring day! The location was great, quick drive to downtown Newport!

Fantastic place!

Had a phenomenal stay here with my wife and friends. The house is well appointed and much larger than it seems - there are two additional separate "living areas" downstairs with pull out couches in the game room and lower level living room. Location is very close to 1st beach and the rest of town (still preferable to have a car). Only suggestion would be to add a grill in the backyard!
