ELLERY HOUSE is a charming and beautifully maintained, 1750 sq-ft Summer Beach House. 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Also have Queen pull out couch. Pets and children are always welcome. You will LOVE the huge outdoor patio space!

On Easton's Point, Ellery House is an easy walk to the beaches. This Cape style home is a few blocks from the beach & numerous bars & restaurants, and a mile to town and all the fun activities of Newport.

There is plenty of off-street parking, a private back yard with beautiful large fenced patio (for people & your pet!), grill, and an outdoor hot & cold shower. There is A/C throughout.

*** please be aware there is potential construction noise in neighborhood Summer/fall 2025.

Please see the calendar for current availability. Please note if you see “host fee”, VRBO is now calling any cleaning fees or Pet fees, “host fees”.

Completely separate area off back of home is sometimes owner occupied. It is a completely private, separate space. You may occasionally run into us or our 2 friendly dogs, passing through through the back yard/patio area, or in & out of the driveway, but your stay in the main house is very private.

We are a NON-smoking property, but you may smoke outside.

My family had a wonderful stay at Ellery House. Rebecca is a gracious host and provided tips on places to visit both for adults and kids. The house is great for a multi-generational family like ours with lots of bedrooms, a large kitchen and living space and an enclosed patio. Another bonus - walking distance to the beach and lots of places to eat. We hope to be back!

Great Beach Getaway

Rebecca’s place was lovely and clean. We were in town for a wedding but would come back to enjoy a weekend by the beach. Walking distance to great restaurants and the beach and the side patio was a great spot to relax.

Wonderful Home!

The house was impeccably clean and tidy. The kitchen was large and up to date. It was a great place to sit, chat and have breakfast and coffee. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Rebecca was just wonderful. She was pleasant, accommodating and readily available by text should we have had any need. The location is a brief walk to the beach and a 10 minute drive to fabulous Newport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay at Ellery House

Ellery House is lovely, has a great location (walking distance to First Beach and Cliff Walk) making it a great base of operations to explore Newport and the surrounding area, is well equipped, and very dog friendly. Great Stay!

Our stay at Rebecca’s was wonderful! Her house is very clean and nicely decorated. It is also in a very convenient location. Just a short Uber downtown Newport and quick drive to the cliff walk/beach. The best part was Rebecca’s communication. She was always so prompt to reply to any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Summer week at Ellery House

The location was convenient for walking to the beach and nearby restaurants. The house has outstanding curb appeal and a private/shaded outdoor area for reading, eating, and relaxing. Inside, the rooms are updated, clean, and comfortable. We would highly recommend for friends and we will return.

Spectacular!

Our stay at the Ellery House was better than we imagined. The location was perfect! Close proximity to the beach & Newport points of interest. The home & private backyard were clean and perfectly charming. Rebecca was responsive, friendly and respectful of the shared space. We can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Fabulous weekend girls trip

We had a fabulous time staying at the Ellery house. The house was beautiful and spacious, exactly as we pictured it. Rebecca was easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. It was nice to meet her during our stay. We wished we could have stayed longer but look forward to returning in the future. I will definitely recommend the Ellery house to friends and family looking for a staycation in RI. It was a short walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and shopping areas.

Great house close to beach and restaurants

Had a great week-long stay at this lovely house within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The house was perfect for me and my adult son and his family plus my dog. The house was well equipped and lovely inside so we felt right at home. The outdoor patio was a great place to gather and hang out. It is totally fenced in so it was a safe environment for my dog. Being able to get up in the morning and take the dog for a run and swim at the beach was wonderful. The owner was very helpful suggesting places to go to in the area and very responsive if we had any questions. Would totally consider returning again.

Perfect getaway

The house was perfect for our 4 night stay in Newport. Rebecca was a great host and kept in touch throughout the week to make sure our stay was going smoothly. She recommended places to eat and fun outings for our kids plus dog. House was very clean, with large kitchen and great backyard. Easton beach and several restaurants all within 10 min walk. Enjoyable weekend getaway

The property was a charming cape-style house with a fenced back yard which was perfect for accommodating our two Goldendoodles. The location was convenient to Newport. Just a 5-minute ride to the mansions and harbor. It was also a short walk to the beach. Check-in and checkout information was complete and timely, and Rebecca got back to us quickly via phone/TXT when we had additional questions. We enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to rent again when we are in the area.
