We are impressed with th common areas, especially the pool area. But we were disappointed with the room. It is tiny. Okay… it’s vintage. But the bedside table lamp didn’t work and there was trash in the closet. The lavatory is funky and nice but loud.

The hotel had beautiful architecture: room was clean and beautiful. The dining - food was delicious and the bar - drinks were excellent. I would definitely go back.

Bright gem of West Texas

An amazing place, a true oasis. To say it's the best hotel in Big Spring is a gross understatement. It is superb by any measure. True old world charm in an otherwise fairly rustic town. I go out of my way to stay here.

Excellent place to stay on way to Big Bend

We were so pleased with our one night stay here! The bed was Uber comfortable, the restaurant was excellent and the room Was spacious and so quiet! We loved having two sinks in the bath plus a dressing area. The only negative was the expensive draperies had water stains in our room and the temperature control wasn’t easily accessible It got cold in the night and it was a long trek to adjust the thermostat we will definitely stay here again when passing through

Oh my goodness I love this hotel! I could make a whole photo album with pics that I took inside the hotel. We ate a light dinner in the restaurant and it was wonderful. The bathroom in our room is amazing! The room itself is very spacious. I am so glad we booked our stay here and wish we could stay longer. So many thoughtful touches.

This awesome 1929 hotel is redone and beautiful, time period correct,staff very polite and efficient. We asked to upgrade to a king bed and was upgraded for the same price . Nice place to stroll around and take photos.and read about the history of hotel
