As many of us do when looking for a motel I checked the lowest price option and took a gamble that some of the bad reviews were exaggerated. Well I lost that bet. I was ok with outdated decor and the very used furniture. What I was not ok with was the safey issues. These inclded moldy shower curtain, bugs, filthy bedding and and towels, big exposed metal rods that extended from under the bed to hold it up, bad lighting, electrical outlet that shorted out when used, carpet that hasn't been cleaned in years (if ever - see photo of girlfriends feet after walking on the carpet for just a few minutes), a TV that did not work and not to mention the whole room smelled like an ash tray. When I showed/told the staff these problems was told by the staff that if I paid almost 100% more than I had already paid they would try to "upgrade" my room. Ended up driving over 90 miles to find an available hotel in my price range to avoid staying at the Boutique Motel Wolf Inn. Have dozens of more photos/videos of the safety and hygiene issues but Travelocity will only allow a few. So just a warning if you try on gamling that the bad reviews ablout this motel are wrong, be prepared that the odds are stacked against you. Safe travels and go to Cedar Point ... it was amazing.
We use this motel often but the last few times the room has been kind of grungy. Stains on floors, bed spread, and bathroom. Itâs been better and the staff was great. Of you can catch a lower price, itâs a good place to stay after a long day at Cedar Point.
The staff was great. Had to replace the smoke detector and he was there within 5 minutes. Additional towels given upon request. AC worked GREAT. AWESOME water pressure. Convenient and clean ice machine. GREAT PRICE. Beds were comfy and linen was clean. Floors and walls a little dirty but Iâd stay here again. Convenient location and although the pool at this site was down, they gave us access to their sister hotelâs pool. Fridge worked great and had a microwave.
Very basic hotel but the carpet was so nasty. Instantly turned out feet black. Had to keep shoes or socks on while walking around our room. And our bathtub steady leaked a stream we had to keep the bathroom door shut to drown the noise
Absolutely disgusting, need slippers to even walk in room. Bed as hard as the floor. Would have got a better nights sleep in the truck. Bedbugs are afraid of this place. Will never recommend staying here to anyone. Would be safer sleeping in a cornfield.
The room had stains on the walls the chairs and the beds the bathroom door has holes punched into it there mold on the walls and the toilet isnât even bolted all the way down
The property is quirky and the rates are incredibly low. You clearly get what you pay for here. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, fairly certain they were RV mattresses from the 80s. The bathroom was tiny, the water pressure was non-existent, and the handle for the shower spun in a full 360 which made finding temperature a challenge. The door didn't have a proper lock, which made security questionable. Canceled a future stay here, would not stay again or recommend.
