Incredible mid century hotel with modern rooms and amenities. I had a corner room, 511 floor to ceiling windows with incredible views of the city. The guest service was fantastic!

Better places to stay Downtown Milwaukee

We were excited at the prospect of staying in such a historic building but were let down. The room was shabby - every piece of furniture was dinged up. The carpet felt old and not clean. Appreciated the large windows but they were dirty. We were given exactly 2 coffee pods and 2 creamers. No bottle opener. No wine glasses, only paper cups. Not sure how disabled people get up the stairs - they need an accessible ramp. We've stayed at Hilton properties all over the country and this was a big disappointment. I'll be happy to pay up for a nicer property next time. On a positive note, the location can't be beat -- close to the Milwaukee Museum of Art, Riverside Theater, Third Ward, restaurants, etc. The room size was good but we won't be returning.

We got stuck staying here because of Expedia. When I made the reservation, it said “this property is sold out “, so I quickly made another reservation at a Sheraton property. But then I got emails saying I was actually booked at the Hilton to, so I asked if I could cancel and they said their policy was non refundable- fortunately, the Sheraton did allow me to get refunded. I only stayed here at the Hilton because of that. I am not crazy about Expedia and will probably not use Expedia again because of this. Aside from that the Hilton was good service just a bit more expensive on parking than I preferred and expected. All the staff were friendly and room was clean and quiet

This is our favorite place to stay in Milwaukee because we love the beautiful historic building and top-notch service. This time we got to bring our dog along! We were obviously in a pet-friendly room, so our first floor room lacked the view I'd experienced before, but it made it super simple to take our pup in and out of the hotel as needed. As usual, the room was comfortable and clean and the service was friendly and helpful!
