Room snd staff were great. Location very convenient. Unfortunately, elevators were not adequate to support needed use. Fortunately, we were on 7th floor and were able to walk down when wait was too long and several full elevators passed. This occurred several times for 2 night stay.

This hotel is an older building that has been renovated to have clean and comfortable rooms. The bed in our room was very comfortable and the room itself was spacious. The room did not have a closet which I found to be odd. We were there to attend Summerfest and go on brewery tours so dress clothes were not necessary, but if I would have been there for a wedding that would have been irritating. There was also no iron or ironing board…also not necessary for my stay this time but would have been different if I needed dress clothes pressed. The room was just lack luster, there was no garbage can in the bathroom and the only one was on the other side of the bed by a super tiny fridge on the floor. No wet bar or desk/chair area and again that would be nice if traveling for business. The restaurant Miller Time was probably the best part of the hotel. All in all I would not stay here again. Very expensive for what you get.

You could smell cigarette smoke throughout the day & night from a room nearby. It was dusty on every surface, the TV remote & a/c unit buttons were VERY greasy-grimey, the smoke was bad at times, and the bed was so uncomfortable to sleep on. It actually hurt to sleep on one side for too long. I couldn't wait to checkout. However, the late checkout was nice as I had a delayed flight from inclement weather. The decor of the hotel was nostalgic & classy, but definitely dated. The parking fees were horrible at $48/night.
