When making reservations never mentioned that hotel was doing renovations Our 1sr room only had beds no desk or chair or fridge they gave us another room and it had2 refrigerators both didn’t work stay there alot just disappointed we had 2 switch rooms twice it was very late

We usually stay in this property when visiting Milwaukee because we like the area and the hotel itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, this time our experience was not up to the standard that we have come to know from other Hilton properties- including this location. This location is currently remodeling and assigned us a room that was in the process of being renovated. The lighting was extremely poor, there was no trash can in the bathroom, no desk nor dresser. It was uncomfortable. People choose to stay in hotels to be comfortable, not to “rough it”. We didn’t complain because we were in town for a funeral and needed to focus our attention elsewhere. In the future, they should not sell rooms that are not fully suitable and up to standard. In addition, being assigned a room should not be based upon whether I booked through Expedia or booked directly through the hotel using my Hilton Honors.

Nice that the skywalk to Baird Center is attached. The hotel is old but they say they are remodeling this year. Wish they had valet, as the parking lot is very close but when traveling with a lot of items it is very difficult. The restaurants in the hotel are nice. Starbucks is inside.and convenient.
