Relaxation heaven

There are so many things to mention that made our stay a wonderful week of fun. Hot tub was wonderful, fishing; we brought our Jon boat and the boys went fishing everyday! Boat launch on site perfect. Amenities like kayaks to use and water trampoline were great. Fantastic boat dock. Optional boat and jet-ski rental another plus. House is near end of cove so no traffic yet view of lake is great. Close to stores and Log Home Brewery was awesome! Can't wait to return. Would definitely stay here again. Host is very easy to get in touch with if needed.

Relaxing lake weekend

We had a great time staying here! The house was cozy and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking family meals. We spent every sunny minute in the water, which was nice and warm even on cooler days. The paddle boards were a blast for the adults and the kids loved jumping off the dock and floating pad. Once the hot tub got up to temp it worked great. We would definitely consider another stay. Thanks!

Great fishing, water sports and Hangout

Has it's own boat ramp and boat house make sure you have 4 wheel drive steep ramp. Great location on the lake being by the bridge not to many big wakes. Fishing off the dock for catfish and bass. Hot tub is great just make sure you turn on the jets when you get there to heat it up. Grocery store and bait shop 20 minutes away.Beautiful view from every window. Kid friendly with bunk beds. Great WiFi service. New upgrades to the house. We loved our stay

Fun weekend at the lake

The house was very clean and in a great location. Our teenagers loved riding the jet ski, fishing for catfish right off the dock every evening, and playing ping pong in the basement after dinner. Kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Jenn, the property manager, was great! Thank you for the wonderful family memories at the lake!

Lovely long lake weekend

We were looking for a quiet April weekend by the lake for our kids aged 4 through 17, and that's what we had. There were lots of spots to sit and lounge around, and we lived mostly on the dock, chasing fish, using water toys, and occasionally taking paddle boards to venture further into Lake Anna.

Great location, dock, house, amenities, everything was as advertised!

House and dock has everything you could ask for. Host was easy to communicate with and check in/out was no issue. Dock is close to a busy road but it is not noticeable or noisy at all. in fact, really liked the private-like cove. Our kids enjoyed the paddleboards, kayak, floaties, etc. would stay there again!

Relaxing Private Lake House with extras

My family wife and 3 kids under the age of 9 stayed here in August. The house is located in a private cove on the private side of Lake Anna. The property has a great dock house with water access that has a shallow access for little ones but also has a deeper side for a boat and jet ski. There is only one other property in the cove so there is no boat traffic which is great for swimming, kayaks and paddle boards. One of the great benefits of the property is it has 3 paddle boards and 3 kayaks to use. You can also rent the owners boat and jet ski. We did have a problem with the boat but the owner and property manager fixed the issue quickly. Communicating with the owner was great and he responded quickly. Having the ability to rent the boat and jet ski is important because there are no marinas on the private side of the lake to rent a boat from. There is also a great fishing spot located about 3 minutes away by boat. Between the dock and the fishing spot we probably caught 40+ fish. The inside of the house was clean and had plenty of seating. The kids loved having a hot tub inside of the house. Another nice touch I appreciated is there were plenty of towels provided for all of the water activities. The boat house also had several life jackets if you do not have your own. The property is located in a private wooded area and had a nice fire pit for camp fires. I would highly recommend this rental and we look forward to staying here in the future.

Great vacation home

The home and property is lovely and well kept. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time relaxing and fishing off of the dock. A great place to unwind and reconnect with family. Highly recommended!

Lake Front Fun!

The property is located on a wooded lot with beautiful views of the lake. We spent most of the time at the boat house, enjoying kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing on the lake. At night we enjoyed relaxing around the fire pit. There were plenty of restaurants, and wineries within a reasonably short drive. We truly enjoyed our stay at the property and would do it all over again!

Relaxing week at Anna

The owner has the house stocked with anything you may forget! Our grandkids loved the dock and the hot tub. We caught over 100 small fish around the dock in four days so the kids were thrilled. Very private spot which was nice. Would recommend to families....wonderful place and Steve the owner couldnt be any easier to deal with. Nice guy!

Our fishing club comes to Lake Anna every year to get some early spring fishing in. And this house provided a great home base for us with space for everyone’s boats. The host promptly replied to any questions we had and helped make our trip great. Thanks!

Great location, beautiful property

Beautiful spot, would be an awesome place to stay during the summer (we stayed in December for a wedding). Only issue was that there weren't linens on the beds when we arrived but the property responded quickly and helped us figure out how to get into the linen closet.

Relaxing vacation

The house and property are so lovely! Everything about the property is fantastic, with the exception of the loud and busy road. We wish we had known about it before booking our stay. The boathouse/dock is gorgeous and so much fun to hang out and fish on. The fire pit is huge and so nice. We also loved the unique indoor hot tub. The king bed in the primary bedroom is super comfy!

Nice but not without flaws

Pros: Lakefront area is pretty incredible. Lots of space, I mean lots. Dock is fantastic and anything you could want for a nice day in the water is around(fishing poles, paddle boards, life jackets, etc.) Hot tub nook is great inside the house. Cons: For the high cost of the house I was honestly expecting a better interior. Outside of the kitchen, a lot of the house felt dated. Lighting especially was pretty bad in some rooms, especially the living room. There were a few dead crickets on the floor when I got there. Dishwasher was also full of dishes. Neither of these things are a huge deal, but I paid a lot of money for the house and you expect these things to be dealt with.

Total Relaxation

My family loved our entire stay. The house was very clean, kitchen had everything you would need. The view, the lake is amazing. The boat house and dock is where we spent most of our time. The boat house is full fun, tubes, life vest of every size, watching the stars from the upper deck. The kayaks and paddleboards were great. The owner was wonderful, very accommodating. We will surely be back.

Perfect Cove property

We recently stayed for 5 nights. Communication with Steve was easy from day 1. The cove is perfect and the boathouse really is amazing, the floating dock was a huge hit. The distance to the water from the house is absolutely perfect. The kayaks and paddle boards were great to have and since the cove is so big it’s great to get around. The fire pit was great, though there was some broken glass in it assuming from a past guest. The house has plenty of lounging space and is very pet friendly. The beds were fine too. Some feedback for the owner would be that that there were no hand towels or face towels for some reason. The house could really use more towels in general and or perhaps to recommend people bring their own. We were unable to use the grill since it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Recommendation to the property manager The house/windows and porches need a good scrubbing/ deep cleaning from cobwebs and dust inside. The boat was a slight disappointment as it’s got a lot of wear and tear inside and we had difficulty with it a few times starting but Steve’s double dog tube was amazing for the kiddos. Great location on the private side!
