We got to our hotel Saturday, found out they didn't have my room. I was told Expedia over booked the rooms. That a bus tour was booked on October 24th, I let him know my room was booked & confirmed on October 21 with availability from Expedia. I asked about a king size room, told they were booked.
I was given a handicap room with a full size bed & a worthless pull out sofa bed that works if you're under 10 or sleeping off a hang over. Very disappointed with the lack of accountability & responsibilitiy, very quick to place blame.
Day 2, I let the manger know we would not be staying in that room another night, that the sofa bed is shot, and he as the manager needed to fix things & make it right, that we wouldn't be sleeping on the coach another night. I was cordial, kind & professional with the conversations with the manager. Instead of tired, demanding & yelling customer to him.
Night 2 was much better, I got the room we originally paid for & no sore neck from sleeping on a couch.
