Great stay despite the weather

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Liked the remodel. Great views. A couple minor maintenance issues I reported when we left but it didn't affect our stay. First unit we ever stayed in that had a working ice maker!!! We had 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 child. Perfect for the 6 of us. Wouldn't want anymore. Teri in the office was great!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay here wasn't as good as expected. Our fire alarm went off for hours on our 1st night. Then our door lockbox malfunctioned leaving us locked out of our place for over 5 hours. Completely disappointed with the whole experince.

Great time with 2 other couples

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is beautiful. We stayed with 2 other couples. We each had our own room with an attached bathroom and it was great. We alternate who gets the master bedroom and it wasn’t our turn. We are use to a King Bed so that was the only downside. But we knew it. The views are spectacular, the place is clean, the security guard was friendly and did a great job of walking the buildings and pool areas to make sure renters were the people present. Our friends have not been to Destin and loved it. This our 4th time at Destin and using Seascape. We visited a lot of the shopping areas, went to a town called Seaside, happy hour at Mexcal (several times), listened to live music and danced at the bar located onsite almost every night (we really enjoyed the mixture of entertainment), used a small family boat shuttle to go to Crab Island, and golfed. It could not have been better!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful. It was very spacious and had a perfect view in every room. There was plenty of cookware to use, plenty of space, and the room was beautifully decorated. The only complaint that I have is that was room was not clean and/or sanitized. The sheets had stains in them (in all bedrooms), the dishes weren’t clean (I could clearly see stuck-on food and water stains), and there was dust on various surfaces. We had to stop unpacking and clean as we noticed the dirt and germs, especially since we had a 2-year-old and a 10-year-old with us. Overall, the experience we had here was great, but it would have been perfect if the room was clean and sanitized like it should have been. There’s no sense in paying all this money for the condo if you have to clean upon arrival.

The floors WERE NOT SWEPT and FOOD SCRAPS were on the floor. All of the guests (7) DID NOT have clean towels or washcloths for 3 days. I was told that I was welcome to go purchase my own towels . Had to go in the managers office (Austin) in order to get some for the week. Some of the fixtures in 2 of the bathrooms were in disrepair. Other than that the view from the 22nd floor was spectacular. from the 22nd floor was spectacular..

Lack luster amenities, our unit wasn't cleaned it's best, had a dirty mop,lots of things in our closet and half rolls of tissue in each bathroom with an extra roll in the master. Called the emergency maintenance number several times with no answer and the office is only available 9-5 with any issues. Overall the condo was pleasant but we wouldn't trade the family time or the beach access for anything.

Great Summer Vacation!

It is a spacious beautiful condo that accommodates our family. I was a little disappointed in the extra covers and pillows, they were poorly folded and not washed. All the pillows in the master closet had stains and facial hair, hair, dirt, it was disgusting. We had to go out buy some because it was just dirty. Also, the dryer start button was broken off. The dishes were also left in the dishwasher from previous renters.

The property is well maintained, clean and the grounds are up kept beautifully. We love going to the ocean and then coming back and sitting by the pool. Clean but needs updating

We stayed here last minute on Fall Break. We got in on a discount because of the last minute booking but had we paid full price, I would have been disappointed. Several pieces of furniture were broken or in serious disrepair. There was a handle to a bathroom door that wouldn't work from the inside and our kids consistantly got locked in the bathroom. The views were amazing and it was clean. I liked the restaurant downstairs and the live music. Very cool! It was a chore to get to the beach as the beach shuttle does not run after labor day (something not specified in the resort info). Beach chairs were complementary but it was also a huge process to get those each morning. Someone had to go stand in a line each morning to get "assigned" a set of chairs- you couldn't just tell them you wanted them for the week. Overall, I was pleased but the seriously discounted price allowed for a lot of grace on the other things.

Couples Trip

Great location and clean. Simple and served its purpose.. easy check in and out... the only recommendation is to add a foam top for the mattresses as the beds were a little uncomfortable. Overall an ok stay!!
