Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both SanDestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers everything from Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club. Several boutiques, such as Hello, Sunshine, and Magnolia House, carry fare you can't find anywhere else. Dining options include Mitchell's Fish Market, P. F. Chang's China Bistro, and Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food. In 2013, Walton Countyâs first movie theater opened at Grand Boulevardâs Town Center â the state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater.
If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!
The condo was VERY clean and well appointed. It fit my older son, two girls and myself perfectly! The location was very convenient and close to everything. The beach access was perfect! The pool, gym and visitor area was very clean and nice with helpful staff! They even gave my two little girls beach goody bags with toys. There is a nicely appointed bbq grill area that we used on a night in. We will be back!
Overall, the condo was great. Clean, good communication with the property manager, and right on the beach. The only feedback I would give is to provide basic spices as there is nothing. Just staying a few days, we had to buy basic stuff like salt and pepper, any oil for cooking, and seems wasteful to then have to toss everything out when we checked out. You also need to purchase your own paper towels and the dishes, drinking glasses, pots and pans are very minimal. Short term rentals are supposed to be home away from home, so these little things do make a difference. Overall, was as advertised.
It was comfortable and had what we needed for our stay. It needs a few things, but overall it was fine. The bathroom door stuck at the bottom and was difficult to get open after closing and made quite a bit of noise when opened, which was a bit annoying for anyone sleeping if you used the bathroom in the middle of the night. The bedroom has what I appears to be a 20" TV with audio that sounds like an AM radio, but we weren't at the beach to watch TV, and the TV in the living area was fine. The closet door in the bedroom was difficult to open and close and sounded like it hadn't been lubricated since the condo was originally built. Again, all small things, but things I would hope are addressed in the near future. The kitchen had all you would need to cook all your meals, which was a plus. My sister was staying in 301D during our stay in 505B and I will say that our unit was very basic and minimalistic when compared with hers, but hers was larger and about double the cost. That said, I felt it served the purpose and was a decent value for the money.
