The Space:

-We have a nice large round about drive way for parking up to 4 vehicles with ease (more street parking if needed)

-A large back yard to never feel crowded, with bbq and fire pit

-Crystaline pool

-Big bunk bed room that can sleep up to 8 people in it, and 3 private bedrooms aside, and two sofa couches.

-Washer and dryer in unit

-Cute and beach decorated by us!

Gulf Pines (our neighborhood) touts approximately 1,300 feet of beach as the private gulf front homes each sit on approximately 100 feet of beach as does the common area beach pavilion. In addition, Lake Morrison in Gulf Pines offers common access to the lake for fishing, stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking. The beach access via a board walk to the neighborhood pavilion is private.

Other Things to Note:

Pool is not heated during any portion of the year, so will be cold in the winter time. However, it is always maintained, and can be used whenever.

Very disappointed

We just got done with the stay at this house July 5 through the 12th. We stayed here with several family members and were very disappointed. The listing says that the house sleeps up to 18 people but the amities within the house are not for 18 people. Very limited kitchen supplies, one frying pan that was so disgusting we had to put foil in it to cook with it. Not nearly enough pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, etc. there was a water issue where the floors were seeping water from underneath the entire time. The living room rug was soaking wet.The owners did offer to send someone out two days before our stay was over, but at that point, we told them to wait until we were gone. The listing on the site is a two minute walk to the beach and that as by far not the case. We had rented a golf cart and it was a five minute golf cart ride to the beach. The patio table outback had no chairs. The grill that is provided the burner on it was rusted in half and half of the grill had no heat. The pool does not have a handrail going down the stairs, making it difficult for elderly or disabled people to get in and out. There were workers the entire week, putting up a fence in the backyard while we were swimming in the pool. There was mold in the bathroom. No chairs for the beach were provided. The chains on thee of the bicycles kept popping the entire time. The towel rack in one of the bathrooms was ripped down with a big hole in the wall. One of the handles for the shower was broken off.

Perfect Fall Break!

This was a perfect place for our family and friends! We really enjoyed our stay! We had our college kid with two friends, our high school kid with a friend and our three younger children that are 9,6 and 5. We also had friends with their 7 and 4 year old. Everyone had a great time and we enjoyed the community. The beach was beautiful and quiet! We had everything we needed.

Overall great property

This house is nestled in a wooded, corner lot, and offers great privacy, especially for the pool in the backyard. It was a little far to walk to the beach (and back) with children, but the included bikes were a fantastic touch that made the trip so much easier. Very convenient to SanDestin resort, the outlets, and the beach road. The house was big and spacious, and the morning sun lit up the family room. There is a very large bunk room that my children were excited to use, but unfortunately, as soon as we arrived, we noticed a large amount of large ants crawling around in that room. We reached out to the property manager and he responded immediately and instantly offered that he requested to have pest control come by the house. As far as I can tell, they never arrived, and we bought some organic bug spray that kept the ants at bay in that room, but my children couldn't utilize the bunks. Thankfully, they used the other two other bedrooms in which they could share the beds together.

Great beach stay

Overall a good beach stay! Quiet neighborhood and nice access to the beach. Enough room to sleep our multiple families with kids! Only con was the backyard was not kept up with yard work. There were over grown weeds and some ant piles in the patio area. Kids still had a blast in the pool though.
