Recently renovated for 2016, Creekside now features central air and heat, remodeled kitchens, new flooring, new beds, and more. You'll get the great prices you've come to expect at Creekside, with many modern conveniences and updates now included. Creekside East and West are adjoining cabins that offer you the full Pack Creek Ranch experience with economy and comfort. Each cabin can sleep up to six people. Situated in a former bunkhouse on the banks of Pack Creek, the verdant scrub oak trees and bird life of the creek bed are right outside the bathroom and kitchen windows. A stone-floored, shared front porch provides fantastic views of the La Sal Mountains and the sunset over the red rock rim. The Ranch offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (traditionally open Memorial Day until Labor Day but subject to change), plus a year-round hot tub and sauna. Wildlife abounds and there are many nearby trails.
The open floor-plan of Creekside West provides a large bedroom with 2 comfortable queen beds and plenty of night-tables. For clothing storage, there is a 4-drawer dresser and wall hooks. In true cabin style, the living/dining area features rough-hewn walls and a west window to bring sunset skies close. There is plenty of relaxing to be had on the large sofa/sleeper and overstuffed easy chair. Nearby, the dining table provides seating for four.

Former dude ranch with a rustic feel. A lot of history with famous authors, actors and celebrities. Would stay again. Would love to own a cabin like this.
We loved this dog friendly property as did our dogs. It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. No phone or TV - Yay! great kitchen, bathrooms and spacious open area. Lots of interesting areas around the property and up the road. Although a family rented the place next door to ours, we really never heard them. Location was ideal to see sites south of Moab, but still just a short 20 minute drive to Moab. Perfect!
We were looking for something away from the crowds and outside of Moab. This cabin is situated in a tiny community of cabins about 25 minutes outside of town. It is easy to access with a regular vehicle.
The cabin is nice with beautiful views. Plenty of space with a nice kitchen. The only downside is that the beds need an upgrade.
It felt rustic but with comfortable amenities. We had a beautiful view day and night of the surrounding La Sal mountains and canyons. It was an easy and beautiful drive to Moab and Arches National Forest.
The place was wonderful. I wish i could give 4 1/2 stars. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is that both beds were extremely lumpy and the mattresses need to be replaced. Other than that we loved staying here. Close enough to Moab, Arches and Canyonlands that you could get there in 20-30 minutes but remote enough to be a nice getaway.
The cabin was ok, but had a few issues. First, the beds were so soft and worn you had to put pillows under you or you sink and feel the springs. Second, they need to spray for pests. Everyday I killed multiple spiders in the unit. Third, they need to provide adequate quantity of towels. There were only two bath washcloths. Our stay was for four days and two adults, so there should have been at least 8 washcloths. We tried to contact the management with no luck. These issues would prevent me from ever staying at this property again.
Nice area on a ranch with free-ranging cattle (lots of babies). We arrived, unpacked and went to make cold drinks. Two empty ice-cube trays in the freezer. The listing says there is an ice-maker. Guess we missed finding that. Spilled water on the floor, cleaned it up with with a paper towel, paper towel dirty. The place was marginally clean. Went to make coffee, no coffee filters. The shower is tiny with a faucet handle that needs work. The beds are very uncomfortable. They have some kind of mattress pads with four-inch squares that feels like youâre sleeping on lumps. The 20 minute drive to Moab was expected. Also, this is not an individual cabin, but part of a duplex. We had wonderful hikes in Arches and Canyonlands.
The reservation process, communication with property management, check in and check out were great. The property/ranch was lovely though wish we'd learned before arrival that a fire had swept through there 2years ago and charred trees lined the valley with some charred homes still needing repair. Second, the unit was clean and had what we needed for the stay except as we settled in to our first dinner there we started seeing mites in a couple windows in the kitchen and dining areas. We gave it a thorough cleaning ourselves though they were back the next day. The heat of day brought them back and we had to clean them up several times a day and had to avoid using those spaces. This was probably dumb luck as they appeared to be clover mites and the clover was all in bloom. After using stove for a couple days, it wouldn't light the third morning and we'd had enough, packed up and left before we could reach anyone at the property management company. They refunded us for the last night that we didn't use and said they would have offered to move us (closer to town) though that was not what we wanted to do after unpacking.
A group of âvery matureâ ladies stayed in pack creek west and east and the bigger Lodge. We conquered Chicken Corners, splashed through Onion Creek and held our breath though the Switchbacks and every time we were so happy to return home to Pack Creek Ranch for a group dinner and let our dogs play in the beautiful grassy fields!
