Stopped for 1 night at the Balmoral, while touring on my motorbike. Lovely single room. Excellent bar meal. Fantastic breakfast. Parked my motorcycle safety in the courtyard too ! Excellent value for money & will stop again.

Stayed in the cottage, some very nice touches in arrival, food was very good and breakfast had plenty of choice, if you are looking for a hotel in Moffat I would recommend you give this a try.

Wow

Not sure what I was expecting but this superb room was a wonderful surprise. Large and luxurious with a 40+ inch tv and 2 comfy armchairs.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the cottage layout and the lovely private garden. Decor a bit tired in places but that wouldnt put us of returning. Had a lovely 3 night break.

We had a really nice room up on the top floor which was homely & spacious. The staff were really friendly & helpful & the food was lovely. Will definitely stay there again.
