This is an entire private house with garden, extra-long (18m) heated swimming pool, spacious veranda and patios designed to provide proper shade as well as sun.
- The house is surrounded by olive groves, orchards and vineyards. It is a tranquil rural spot, but a short drive from shops and restaurants in nearby Monterchi.
- From the veranda, enjoy the glorious sunsets with a glass of wine over dinner, or watch the hen harriers fly through the valley just below you.

We welcome you to Satriano - our beautiful home among the olives and vineyards on the Umbria/Tuscan border. Satriano is a standalone private villa with large solar-heated pool, wifi, veranda and patio offering both proper shade and sun. Enjoy the private garden, pick herbs to cook with delicious vegetables from the local markets, or just relax on the veranda with a glass of Tuscan wine, and enjoy the glorious views and sunsets.

There are beautiful walks and bike rides in the hills straight from the house, and yet you are a few minutes drive from the shops and great restaurants in Monterchi and the vibrant historic centres of Anghiari, Sansepolcro, Citta di Castello and Arezzo. Slightly further are Cortona (1hr), Perugia (50mins), Florence (1.5hrs) and Assisi (1hr). For art lovers, this is the land of Piero della Francesca and Donatello. For wine lovers we can recommend wine tastings and tours nearby. And of course there is the wonderful food and markets of Tuscany and Umbria to enjoy. This is the land of porcini and truffles. Enjoy local delicacies for the barbeque, such as the abundant local vegetables, porcini mushrooms, truffles as well as local meat and cheeses. As well as providing details of local shops, markets and restaurants, we recommend a local chef who can prepare and serve an evening meal on site. For keen walkers, as well as hikes straight from the door, a short drive takes you to the beautiful hiking trails of Monte della Luna.

Or simply spend days relaxing by the pool or lazing in the hammock on the veranda.

For music lovers there are many festivals in July and August, for example the classical music festival in Anghiari, Umbrian Jazz in Perugia, Festival dei Nazioni in Citta di Castello, or open-air opera in Preggio..

The house sleeps 4, with two bedrooms with double beds, two en-suite bathrooms, plus a poolside WC. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with a view to die for. There is wifi throughout including at the poolside, USB ports in kitchen, living room and poolside.

Satriano is a tranquil and beautiful spot that instils a sense of calm from the moment of your arrival.

Getting to us is easy by car from nearest airports of Perugia, Florence , or Pisa. Access to the house itself is an easy short drive up a well-made gravel road.

What an amazing place. The house was beautifully renovated and stylish. The beds and bedding were of good quality and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.The views from the veranda are breathtaking, whether that is watching the villages and countryside emerging from the mist in the valley in the morning or watching the most beautiful sunsets with a glass of local wine in the evening.The pool and seating are a real delight. We were here late in the year but can't wait to come back in the summer and spend lazy days by the pool and travelling around to all the interesting towns and villages with their markets and wonderful architecture and history.Thank you Tessa and Jeremy for sharing this magical place with us

House is wonderful for small family. Inside very modern, outside as you would expect in a rural environment, pool is super. A great starting point for some very interesting short trips to cultural highlights. Information and suggestions from owners (cultural and gastronomic) were very valuable and much appreciated. This is the third time we have been to this wonderful Villa.It is in the most perfect setting -so peaceful and remote.You do need a car to stay here but the villa is perfectly equipped with everything you will need to cater for yourself once you have shopped.Both our husband brought bikes with them and there are plenty of routes for them to go on,early in the day before it gets to hot.We did however miss the extra fridge downstairs for poolside drinks this year.The hosts as always we super helpful.Tha js for a great stay again !

Photos cannot convey just what a stunning location this villa is in. So, incredible views and yet within easy reach of many villages and towns that all offered the perfect blend of culture, views and incredible food! The villa itself is beautiful. Great Holiday!

We had a great time at Satriano, the views and the peace and quiet is absolutely what we were looking for in a holiday retreat. The location is wonderful up on the hillside, away from any passing traffic. The house is beautifully presented and contained everything that we required, the veranda is a lovely place to sit and relax and just look at the spectacular views . The pool area is superb and well equipped with a really nice sized pool. We had the opportunity to meet the owners who were really nice and welcoming to us. We would love to return.

Perfection Again

This is the second stay for us here and again it was beautiful! The villa is spotless and very well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering stay. You can walk approx 50 mins to the local cafe for coffee and croissants. The pool is sola heated so like getting in a beautiful bath. The hosts Jeramy and Tessa cannot do enough to help with any questions answered immediately. This place is a hidden gem. Thanks again for a wonderful stay

We had a great two weeks at this villa, which is set in beautiful surroundings with stunning views . It is evident that the property has been lovingly restored offering all modern amenities whilst respecting the history of the original building . The veranda which surrounds the property offers shade during the day and a great place to watch the sunsets . The pool is a great size with stunning views. Whilst it was hard to tear ourselves from the views the villa is well placed . We visited Florence by train from Arrezo, Arrezo , Assisi, Cortona and many other places. At night if we were eating out we did not have to venture far . The recommendations from our hosts were excellent for local restaurants. A great relaxing holiday . We would love to return.

Beautiful, tranquil gem

We enjoyed a wonderful and very chilled week at Satriano, despite the heatwave! The villa is beautiful, the pool fabulous. The outside areas are lovely with stunning views of the surrounding hilltop villages. Sunsets were breathtaking. The smell of lavender and rosemary from the gardens bordering the terrace added to the serenity! Jeremy's suggestions & recommendations were excellent and much appreciated. We celebrated a big birthday whilst at Satriano and Jeremy secured us the 'best table in the house' on the terrace of a local restaurant - it was a perfect evening! The surrounding hilltop villages are beautiful and we found everyone to be so warm and friendly. We had the most wonderful time, Thank you Jeremy.

A holiday in paradise

You can sum it up in a nutshell: A holiday in paradise. The house is beautiful and extremely tastefully furnished. We especially enjoyed the gorgeous veranda, from which we had a breathtaking view of the Tuscan/Umbrian landscape. The pool, an absolute highlight, contributed to the fact that we felt very comfortable all around. The hosts Jeremy and Tessa were extremely nice, the entire organisation ran smoothly. A Hidden Gem!

I have been looking for a modern contemporary villa with its own pool in Tuscany/Umbria for a few years now. When I stumbled across this one it ticked all the box’s . It didn’t start well because we arrived late at night in the dark (Due to heavy traffic in France) So we couldn’t see which door to go in or where to park. However as soon as we woke up the next day we could see what a gorgeous view we had and what a beautiful setting the villa was in! The villa itself is stunning ,it’s completely equipped with everything you could need(all the utensils and towels etc are from John Lewis) From research we knew it was remote so stocked up with shopping for the holiday(however you can walk to a little village about 50 mins away for the cheapest coffee and croissant's you will ever find) My husband loved cleaning the pool out every morning (the pool is solar heated so hot all day which is amazing) Well what can I say about the hosts?? Jeremy and Tessa could not do enough to help us-many thanks. I asked lots of questions about the lads taking the bikes and walking trails etc before we went and all the questions were answered. They have recommendations for wine tasting which we did! They recommended a private chief that comes and cooks at the villa which we did (it is a local lady ) I would recommend to do this it was such a lovely evening and the food was fantastic. If you want a stay in a beautiful place with great hosts then this is the place to book-many thanks x

Charmante villa dans la campagne Ombrienne

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine chez Tessa et Jeremy. La maison, à la frontière de la Toscane, domine une belle campagne vallonée, couverte de vignes et d'oliviers dans un environnement calme et reposant. le logement dispose de toutes les commodités avec une jolie terrasse pour les repas en admirant le coucher de soleil. La piscine de 18 mètres est fantastique, chaude nous y avons passé de nombreuses heures. Tout est fluide dans la communication et les formalités d'arrivée et de sorties ; Tessa et Jérémy sont très réactifs par Whatsapp. Le lieu est aussi très bien positionné pour la découverte avec Arezzo à 35mn, Anghiari 10mn, San Sepolcro à 20mn et Florence à 1H20. Nous avons beaucoup aimé et vous recommandons cette location de grande qualité. Karyne et Cédric

un petit paradis

tout est parfait dans cet endroit merveilleux, la vue du hamac et de la terrasse, le calme et la restauration de la chapelle magnifique, la piscine un couloir de nage de 18mètres à 32degrés, les relations avec Tessa et Jeremy rien à redire, merci pour le cadeau d'accueil (panier repas) un magnifique endroit où se reposer et se ressourcer, tout est bien pensé pour accueillir les hôtes. il faut juste savoir qu'il fait chaud dans les chambres (ventilateur dyson) et les lits de 140 sont à ressorts (si il fallait trouver un point négatif !) et peut-être ajouter une commode ou placard dans le salon (ou sous l'escalier) pour y ranger les affaires, et les valises, car les armoires des chambres (surtout celle du haut étagère très petite) merci à vous

Endroit idyllique!

Propriété d'une propreté irréprochable et dans un cadre à couper le souffle! Nous y avons passé un séjour inoubliable. La maison est au calme, en pleine campagne, mais les commerces sont accessibles et les possibilités de se divertir nombreuses. Tessa est joignable à tout moment. Cadre idyllique

Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour au milieu de la splendide campagne italienne. La maison, ancienne chapelle restaurée avec beaucoup de goût,est située au beau milieu d’un cadre idyllique avec une vue imprenable sur la campagne. Le jardin est très agréable,et que dire de la piscine,les photos montrent bien la beauté du site! Maison tout confort,avec une cuisine super équipée,douches agréables,possibilité d’écouter sa propre musique avec une enceinte à disposition. Il faudrait être pointilleux pour trouver des choses à redire tant la qualité de la prestation est au rendez vous. À savoir que nous sommes venus avec notre garçon de 2 ans et qu’il a bien profité de son séjour(en le surveillant évidemment puisque,comme indiqué dans le descriptif,la piscine n’est pas sécurisée). On ne pouvait rêver meilleur endroit pour découvrir le charme de l’Italie car les environs regorgent d’endroits charmants(Citerna,Monterchi,Anghiari) et les grandes villes sont accessibles assez rapidement(Arezzo, Sienne,Florence, Perouse,Assise) Les hôtes,Tessa et Jeremy,sont très attentionnés,sympathiques et disponibles à la moindre demande(possibilité de dialoguer en français et/ou anglais) Bref, un endroit à conseiller!

Traumhaft

Der Aufenthalt war traumhaft schön. Wir haben eine Woche auf einer Reise quer durch Italien hier halt gemacht. Wir hatten ein paar sehr erholsame und schöne Tage. Die Kommunikation mit Tessa und Jeremy war super, einfach tolle und sehr nette Gastgeber,!

Ein kleines Paradies

Haben wunderbare 14 Tage in Satriano verbracht. Ruhig, tolle Lage, super Aussicht. Einrichtung top, gemütlich, wer gerne kocht - alles vorhanden:-) Ein Ort den man gerne wieder aufsucht. Können das Objekt nur weiterempfehlen. Kommunikation mit den Besitzern sehr gut.

Einfach traumhaft: idyllische Lage, wunderbarer Ausblick und entspannender Pool

Wir haben mit unseren 2 Teenagern zwei wunderbare Wochen in Satriano verbracht und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Die Lage ist einfach idyllisch und bot uns die ersehnte Ruhe. Der großartige Pool war definitiv ein Highlight, ebenso wie der atemberaubende Ausblick von der Veranda mit seinen unvergesslichen Sonnenuntergängen. Die geschmackvolle und gemütliche Einrichtung trug wesentlich zu unserer Entspannung bei. Über die schmalen Betten (140x200 cm) sollte man sich im Klaren sein; es sind ausreichend bequeme Kissen vorhanden. Jeremy war äußerst freundlich, immer erreichbar und bot uns hilfreiche Informationen für einen reibungslosen Aufenthalt. Die einzige kleine Verbesserungsidee wäre ein größerer Nudeltopf in der Küche. Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Un’oasi di pace tra Umbria e Toscana

Ho soggiornato una settimana ad agosto a Satriano insieme alla mia famiglia. La casa è molto confortevole e la cucina ampia ed accessoriata. La piscina è molto usufruibile con l’acqua sempre alla temperatura ideale. La zona è piena di piccoli borghi da visitare e, quando si vuole riposare, la quiete di Satriano è impareggiabile. La terrazza gode di una vista stupenda godibile soprattutto al tramonto durante la cena serale. Un grazie particolare a Tessa e Jeremy ospiti premurosi ed attenti.

Mooie villa met prachtig uitzicht

Wij verbleven hier 2 weken. Bij aankomst moesten wij eerst een steile, onverharde helling op om bij het huis te komen. De eerste keer is dat best spannend, maar het ging goed. Voor ons was dit wel reden om in de avonden en met regen niet weg te gaan omdat het ook onverlicht is. Verder is het een prachtige villa. Het huis was erg goed schoongemaakt, alle keukengerei is aanwezig. Van bestek tot sinaasappel pers. En ook rondom het huis is alles aanwezig: wasmachine, barbecue, koelkast en toilet bij het zwembad, lounge sets, muziek systeem. Zwembad is prachtig met een nog mooier uitzicht op het Toscaanse landschap. Terras bij het zwembad en op de veranda zijn perfect om lekker buiten te leven. Daarnaast ontbreekt het nergens aan. Er is een enorm veel privacy en rust en natuurlijk het geweldige Umbrië/ Toscane. Grotere supermarkten zijn op prima afstand te vinden (circa 20 min rijden). Wij vonden zelf de gala supermarkt in Città di Castello perfect. Deze had alles wat je maar kunt bedenken. Eigenaren Jeremy en Tessa staan geweldig voor je klaar. Zij zijn niet op locatie aanwezig maar regelen toch alles zodra je dit meldt. Voor ons zijn er ook wat feedback punten: - Bedden waren 1.40m. Van een luxe villa verwachtten wij betere, grotere bedden. - De kamers zijn voorzien van een dyson ventilator maar je krijgt de kamers niet koel in de hete zomer. (Mobiele) airco zou wat ons betreft een aanbeveling zijn. - Er was wat ons betreft te weinig kast ruimte om kleding op te bergen. - We hebben zeker 4 dagen (bijna) geen water druk gehad. Hierdoor kon je zelfs de wc niet doortrekken. Hier konden de eigenaren niks aan doen, maar was wel vervelend. - Omdat het huis in een bosrijk gebied staat, is er veel ongedierte. Deze vielen ons voornamelijk lastig bij en in het zwembad (denk hierbij aan dazen, wespen, krekels, vliegen, muggen). Al met al een fijne plek om te verblijven. Ik hoop dat bovenstaande punten waardevolle feedback is om het verblijf nog beter te maken dan het al is!

Sehr gut !

Wir sind mit 4 Erwachsenen Personen nach satrino angereist und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und entspricht genau den Angaben. Besonders den goßen Pool und die sehr gepflegte Anlage haben wir sehr genossen . Wir kommen gerne wieder !
