Cilento, Castellabate - Holiday home with pool in a beautiful panoramic position by the sea

The holiday home Casa Bellavista Cilento is for max. 10 people and has a unique, quiet panoramic location with sea views amidst olive, fig and orange trees on a huge property south of Castellabate, just a few minutes walk from the village of Montecorice. It has several terraces and is divided into two beautiful, comfortable living units, on the ground floor for 6 people and on the upper floor for 4 people, ideal for two families who want to go on vacation together. The house is surrounded by a beautiful, enclosed garden. In a sunny spot between 2 old olive trees there is a round pool with a diameter of 5 m and a depth of 1.2 m.

The sea with a pebble beach and a fishing port is only 2 km away, a beautiful sandy beach 7 km and 17 km to Santa Maria di Castellabate. In Montecorice there are shops and 3 restaurants, other restaurants and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. It is an ideal starting point to discover the unique Cilento National Park with its varied natural landscape and pretty fishing villages along the more than 100 km long coast or for trips to Agropoli, Paestum, Salerno and the Amalfi Coast as well as Naples.

A specialty of the Cilento is the tasty, traditional cuisine with a variety of delicious dishes based on traditional recipes. A small B&B in the neighborhood also offers Casa Bellavista guests a rich breakfast or Cilentan cuisine with products mainly from their own production.

Ruhe und Erholung im Hinterland

Ein wunderschönes Haus in der NĂ€he der KĂŒste - ut ausgestattet mit allem was man fĂŒr ruhige Tage so braucht.. Lediglich zwei Punkte haben uns gestört: Es gab kien WLAN - fĂŒr Teenager eine herbe EinschrĂ€nkung - und die Zufahrt war "abenteuerlich". Ansonsten war alles perfekt... ...gerne wieder.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung

Nachdem man sich an die Anfahrt ĂŒber eine etwas holprige Straße gewöhnt hat, kann man das Haus mit schönem Blick auf das Meer und Montecorice genießen. Die Ausstattung ist gut und praktisch, so daß es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Der Ort ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr Pompeji, Pestum und die Amalfi-KĂŒste, wir waren auch etwas wandern im Cilento-Nationalpark.

Beautiful house in a stunning location.

The Casa Edoardo is an ideal family home for those who like to be a little bit off the beaten path yet close to restaurants and the beach. The house stays relatively cool in the summer heat. The view is stunning. There is little not to like!

Non si capisce perchĂš abbia dovuto scoprire di caparre varie una volta cominciata la procedura di prenotazione invece di avere una comunicazione chiara e trasparente sin dall'inizio, nonchĂ© doverla tradurre dal tedesco. Sinceramente perĂČ credo che maggior responsabilitĂ  sia di Home Away che non pretende totale trasparenza sin dall'inizio.

Entschleunigung im Casa Bellavista

Wir haben wunderschöne Tage im Casa Bellavista verbracht und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Haus hat eine tolle, absolut ruhige Lage mit großen Terrassen und herrlicher Aussicht auf den Ort Montecorice und das Meer. Es ist von einer großartigen Naturlandschaft umgeben, die jetzt im Juni in voller BlĂŒte stand. Wir haben tolle Wanderungen entlang der KĂŒste gemacht, die schönen Fischerorte wie Asciaroli besucht oder einfach nur am Sandstrand gelegen. Beide Wohnungen sind hĂŒbsch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, besonders gefallen hat uns dabei die umfangreiche KĂŒchenausstattung, ist in Italien nicht unbedingt ĂŒblich. Die netten Nachbarn die sich um das Haus kĂŒmmern haben einen kleinen B&B, bei Ihnen kann man auf Bestellung die cilentanische KĂŒche kennen lernen, gut und preiswert, die Zutaten ĂŒberwiegend aus eigener Herstellung. Das hat uns alles sehr gefallen, auch das gute Preis-LeistungsverhĂ€ltnis.

un piacevole soggiorno, con alcuni ma...

Abbiamo soggiornato in 9 amici nel periodo di ferragosto, distribuiti sui due appartamenti. Nel complesso il soggiorno Ăš stato molto piacevole. La casa Ăš piuttosto ben attrezzata con pentole, posate, sedie, tavoli, lo spazio esterno Ăš davvero piacevole, e la zona Ăš tranquillissima, e immersa nella natura. I divani letto sono molto comodi, e anche i letti. La piscina Ăš fantastica, in mezzo al verde, dotata di depuratore, e di doccia esterna. La casa Ăš dotata di asciugacapelli, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, televisore, aspirapolvere, e altri elettrodomestici. Il proprietario del b&b accanto, che si occupa dei rapporti con gli ospiti di questa casa, Ăš molto gentile e disponibile. Debbo perĂČ sottolineare, per i prossimi ospiti, che vi sono alcune difficoltĂ , a partire dalla strada di accesso, che Ăš un pĂČ ostica. E' definita strada bianca, perciĂČ non Ăš asfaltata, Ăš lunga quasi un km. In alcuni punti Ăš piĂč che accettabile, in altri Ăš abbastanza difficoltosa se si ha una automobile bassa, o con difficoltĂ  a fare le salite. PerciĂČ occhio all'automobile con cui vi recate sul posto. E c'Ăš da sperare che non piova, altrimenti si rimane bloccati in casa, in quanto la salita per uscire sulla strada Ăš sterrata e ripida. Suggerirei al padrone di casa di provvedere meglio a questo comfort. Uno dei due bagni Ăš sprovvisto di finestra (in estate puĂČ essere scomodo); I bagni inoltre sono sprovvisti di bidet. Le finestre sono sprovviste di persiane o scuri, puĂČ essere scomodo per chi non riesce a dormire con la luce. Attenzione all'acqua, perchĂš l'estate puĂČ mancare, e il serbatoio di emergenza Ăš piccino per tante persone, perciĂČ va razionata. Attenzione anche a usare la corrente, perchĂš i piani cottura sono elettrici, e la casa ha soli 3 kw. Non abbiamo trovato la casa (le zone cottura soprattutto) molto pulita, abbiamo perciĂČ provveduto a lavare piatti posate e zona cottura prima di utilizzarli. Asciugamani e lenzuola invece erano freschi di bucato. Peccato non aver potuto usare il barbecue, sarebbe stato bello poterlo sistemare in una zona al riparo dal vento ed usarlo in sicurezza, data la stagione estiva a rischio. A parte tutto questo mi sento di consigliare la sistemazione solo a chi sa adattarsi e non si fa prendere dalle ansie. Esorterei comunque il padrone di casa ad effettuare alcune migliorie (strada in primis, oscuramento finestre, ecc...) per ottenere un posto veramente piacevole.

Very disappointed in the house after saving so hard for our holiday and having numerous correspondences with the owner before our arrival to ensure our holiday was going to go well. Firstly I have to say, that I am now suffering with post traumatic stress disorder because there is no road to this house!. the only way to access is via an "unmade goat track" winding along the side of a very steep hill with no guard rail. The walk to the village is a lot longer than 15mins which is stated in the information. The house is unfinished. Steps have no handrails, exposed pipes, rocks, rubble and cables are a tripping hazard. The garden is a jungle of weeds and rocks. Upstairs balcony is unfinished and unsecured (temporary flimsy wooden rail). Unreliable electricity which went off numerous times a day. Impossible to cook as couldn't have oven and two rings on at the same time. Speaking Italian is essential as you have to go to the neighbouring B&B for them to reinstate power. Upon arrival, the beds were not made, we had to hunt for bed sheets, the house was filthy, we had to thoroughly clean before moving in. Power tools were laying around. We had to open and assemble the sun loungers ourselves. The swimming pool is surrounded by rubble. It is on sloping, uneven ground and wasn't kept clean. There was no wifi, as promised. There is not enough storage for clothing for ten people. No drawers, etc. No English/Italian speaking TV channels, everything is in German. The showers are hard to control, scalding hot or cold, (we suffered a couple of burns). No freezer compartment, ice can't be made or stored. Plastic outdoor chairs are not of high quality, one member of our party needed medical attention after a chair gave way. In the second week, we were left without water, which is typical of this region. However, if the house had a larger tank, this could have been avoided. The neighbours all had water. I would not recommend this house to people with young children or elderly people. It's advisable to check with your car insurance if you would be insured on the unpaved road. On a positive note, this house has great potential and will be impressive when/if it is completed and gets an access road. There is sufficient kitchen equipment and crockery etc. The outdoor seating area is delightful with a lovely sail for shade. The beds were comfortable. However, I don't see how the house would accommodate two different families and should be sold as one unit.

Schön restauriertes Bauernhaus

Die schlechte Strasse zum Haus ist fĂŒr Stadtmenschen wie uns etwas ungewohnt, aber dann ist man da: ein wirklich schön restauriertes altes Bauernhaus mitten in mediterraner wilder Natur. Man kann sogar das Meer von Weitem sehen ! Angenehm ĂŒberrascht waren wir von der wirklich hervorragend technischen Ausstattung des Hauses: einfach alles was man braucht war da: eine supertoll funktionierende Heizung in allen RĂ€umen !!! ( es war nachts im April sehr kalt ), eine gute heisse Dusche und eine GeschirrspĂŒlmaschine. Die netten Nachbarn fĂŒhren eine kleines Bed & Breakfast und kochen auf Anfrage fĂŒr einen. Wir haben in der einen Woche dort zweimal sehr lecker gegessen ! Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und fanden auch die Umgebung sehr attraktiv. Der Besitzer des Hauses ist sehr freundlich, nett und unkompliziert. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Haus !
