Hotel was in excellent condition. The street was a little steep just before you enter property. No elevator. Either of these would not be aprobledm if we were younger

Perfect Carmel spot

Lovely spot, clean, comfy, great location. Loved the design, great stay! Breakfast is a bit below average, but I loved that they deliver to your room. Only bummer is they charge you for water, but loved everything else.

Having stayed in Carmel for about 30 years at least twice a year I’ve experienced many of the hotels in different price ranges. I didn’t know much about this hotel, except what I read about it online. First of all, it was very reasonably priced so affordable for people to come down from the Bay Area For a night or two. Secondly, it was upgraded and very clean. The front desk was phenomenal. We actually got to park our electric car with a free charge through the night. Our room was beautiful as were the amenities on a scale of 0 to 10 I would definitely give this place a 10.

Check in was easy, they gave use the room we reserved on Expedia. Was very quiet and clean, the staff was really Nice and professional, and the breakfast was awesome. We will stay there again.

The grounds were very well kept and peaceful and very clean. The staff was very nice and even helped carry our bags from the car to the room. The room was very nice with the sound of a small water fountain inside. We had a nice patio to catch the afternoon sun, and the bed was comfortable. We felt the shower was a little small for us but it was manageable. The location is a short walk to downtown with a little bit of an uphill incline coming back which might be hard for some people. Parking was not hard, but we were there during the week. Would stay here again. We were here in February.
