I would love to give a higher score because the place was nicely appointed and we had plenty of gathering space for a group of 8. The curtains, home decor and bedding in all 4 bedrooms were nicely appointed. My feedback is more about attention to detail/cleanliness! It was shocking to find bath cloths/towels torn/stained presented for guest to use. The ceiling fans and heat returns appear to have not been cleaned all year - which again is sad because overall you can tell that some initial love went into the preparation for the overall space but your housekeeping staff lacks attention to the overall upkeep – that I’m sure you wish to present to your guest.. There were stains on the sofa, walls, tables and frig so we actually had to wipe down and Lysol the entire house to feel comfortable. A dry eraser, sponge, Lysol wipes & checklist for each room does wonders. With an added fee for cleaning your home should reflect that from one guest to the next. I usually enjoy staying in Vrbo homes and although your place needs a lil more TLC, kitchen supplies, hangers & cleaning attention your place could easily be improved to 5 stars. Also, as an out of state quest we were unable to see the address until I walked onto the porch (motion light came on)- but also having a motion or timer light on inside the home would be great to avoid a women from entering into a dark home for the first time (just a thought)..
