This home is beautiful, clean, well stocked for large groups and has an awesome view of the lake! Hosts were quick to respond to any questions and had simple instructions posted around home which was very helpful! It is just minutes away from Indiana Beach too! Highly recommend them for large groups of 10-15 guests :)

A week at Piper House

The property and home were delightful.Our family of 13 had a great time. Host was very gracious when we had some.annoyance from an erratic smoke alarm.and a.dishwasher that would not start - neither of which probed to be a major problem.

Purdue Graduation Stay

We rented The Piper House for a long weekend for a graduation from Purdue. The house was everything it displayed and more. Warm inviting and comfortable for a large family. Everything was very clean and well equipped for your stay. The best part of our stay was the owner!! Our trip had some unforeseen issues caused by mother nature and the owner was terrific in trying to help resolve the issues we encountered with grace and understand even though what we were experiencing was of no fault to the property or themselves. We will rent this house again if we are in the area for an extended period.

Beyond Exceptional

From the moment I booked I received nothing but exceptional service from Heidi! Once we arrived I noticed the small details. The noise machines in each room, which put the teenager and young children to sleep with ease, the extra blankets for the extra breeze on the cool nights down the never ended supply of hot water and pressure. That’s amazing considering 14 people needed to shower! If Disney World had an parallel universe, it would be this!

Amazing Ladies Weekend!

Lake-side and Amusement Park!!

This is our third time staying at this property and we already booked a weekend for next year. Heidi's house is great for 3 families, each with their own restroom and bedrooms to accommodate multiple kids. We swam in the lake, and hot tub - walked to the amusement park, it was great! The swing set is really for younger kids - so just keep that in mind, but it didn't matter to us because there was so many other things to do!

Very nice and well equipped with kitchen dishes And pots and pans,bedding,towels,soaps,lotion,everything one would need in the kitchen area. Boat rental right across from where we stayed,had a pontoon for several days,everyone enjoyed that. Firewood for the fire pit,we had somoras one night,kids liked that and the play area too. There werec12 of us and plenty of room,two screened in porches and the Hugh hot tub were a big hit.

Perfect weekend with family!

The Piper house was absolutely wonderful! Everything is as pictured. The location is perfect for walking to and from the Indiana Beach Amusement Park. Communication was excellent with very thorough instructions and prompt responses. No issues whatsoever. We are already booked for next year!

Very nice house but not the location

First of all I want to say that the owner was excellent in communicating everything. There were amenities broken and she had them replaced immediately which was very nice. The house itself is very nice - but I would not say it is NEW anymore - like a broken towel bar in the bathroom and sinks that don't drain and worn furniture. But it is a nice house. I did not care for the location. With the pictures of the backyard I thought this was in a wooded area - but it is not. It is next to a lot of single campground type cabins that are in the process of being renovated/built and an empty lot where it looks like something burned down but was left. The area might be going through some changes but it appears to be mostly owned by someone building campground type cabins. It is a short walk to the park but it is the back entrance you are entering.

Annual Family Trip

This is our third year at Piper House and our family loves staying here. It’s located across from the boat rental, so super easy to get a day of boating in. The house is laid out perfectly for our kids and their families. Having two kitchens, laundry on-site and one large dining space is essential for our growing family. The owners are responsive and have been fantastic to work with before, during and after our stay. We are booked for next year, and we look forward to being back at Piper House! 😊

Great lake house!

This was the perfect spot for our family of 8 to spend the weekend! We had a range from teens to Grand Parents in town for a graduation and the house was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone and such a great setting.

We had 4 families stay in the house. Each couple got their own room, and the kids shared the two bunk rooms. The separation between the two spaces was perfect for letting the little ones nap throughout the day! Great outdoor spaces too!

Beautiful home and great experience!

We had a great stay at the Piper House! We loved that the owner Heidi had great communication with us...everything was there that we could possibly need at the house. Plenty of garbage bags, dish soap, blankets, pillows, toys in the shed, rafts. You name it-the house had it. It also helped that everything was labeled for easy access. There was laundry detergent in the laundry room so you could wash and dry a load without having to worry about running out to get laundry supplies. The house was BEAUTIFUL, super clean, and the layout was great and very accommodating with more than one family in the house. The view of the lake was perfect, and the kids entertained themselves for hours on the playground in the backyard. The stairs down to the lake were blocked off which was nice for the younger kids. The driveway was nice and long so the kids used scooters and there was a gate at the end of it which was also nice safety wise from a parent perspective. The home was in a perfect location within close walking distance to Indiana Beach Amusement Park which was a huge plus as well. There was only one con and it had nothing to do with the home or the owner. The water by the pier was green and murky with an algae looking appearance. It may have just been the time of the year but we envisioned swimming by the pier or laying on the rafts but were not able to do so until we rented a boat and drove further out. All in all, 5 star review. Perfect place!

Annual trip

We have been staying in this property for over five years. We’ve been coming to the area for 38 years. We love the house it’s perfect for our needs and a great location. The owners are great and always very responsive. It’s a great run property beautiful house, beautiful decor.
