my friend and i really enjoyed our stay here. farah is an excellent host. the apartment was light and spacious, and around the corner from one of montreal's best city markets. i would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting montreal.
Super cute and simple spot in Little Italy. Great location on quiet street. A few notes...
- Thoughtful and charming decor
- Some little quirks... a few of the lights didn't work, shower made funny squeaking sounds
- No AC, fans did a good job and back bedroom has a ceiling fan but was still a little warm on hotter nights
In general, enjoyed our stay! Fara was a lovely host and easy to get in touch with.
This two bedroom apartment was spacious and immaculate and Farah was responsive to all questions and follow up. Three fans did a very adequate job of cooling the unit during the warm summer days that we were there. The location is ideal....a couple of blocks from the metro, great restaurants, local parks, a huge outdoor market....all the terrific amenities within walking distance. I can recommend this apartment with virtually no reservations.
This is a beautiful apartment with lots of character, comfortable, bright, and roomy, in a friendly neighborhood with tons of coffee shops and restaurants. Close by Jean-Talon Market, Metro lines, Little Italy, and gorgeous Jarry Park. It's quiet, even though it's in the thick of things. We were here over a major holiday with lots of celebrations, and had no problems with noise.
The beds are very comfy, and there's room for everyone to spread out. The host was easy to reach and accommodating. Very nice person. We loved staying here and would definitely make a return trip!
Be aware that there's no AC or clothes washer/dryer, and that if you have mobility issues the spiral staircase would be very difficult.
Property was very clean and cozy, bed and pillows are comfy, street was quiet yet close to the market, shops, bakeries, etc. Host
responded quickly to questions.
Be aware there is no AC and the fans (one in each bedroom) have a hard time keeping one cooled off when it is 91 degrees F. This is a second story property with a steep, narrow and winding exterior staircase (very common in Montreal) which can be intimidating to those new to it, and impossible for some physically challenged guests. Parking on the street requires careful interpretation of permitted areas and times ( as it does all over
Montreal).
