Not noted in the hotel description, but the front door literally opens onto platform 1 of the tain station. For those travelling by train this is a major bonus as Montreux is an extremely hilly city. Our room was on the top floor offering a great view off a large patio of Lake Geneva. Very comfy beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to the waterfront for stores and restaraunts.

Very poor. No power outlets in bathroom, few in main room. Only plus is it is located at the end of platform one Would not stay here again.

Nice staff at a budget stay

Very convenient location right on the train station platform. It was a very small room and sparsely appointed. (No wash cloths, 1/2 roll of toilet paper, etc.) However, we requested a fan, extra pillows, a bowl of ice, and all were promptly provided. Great service! Beautiful rooftop dining area. Would recommend for brief visits. We were there two nights.

Don’t be put off by some reviews, good location

We didn’t read reviews until after booking and so I was a bit apprehensive about the stay. We arrived quite late but fortunately hotel is at the end of Platform 1. Checked in and given a Montreux Travel Card which offer local transport/discounts etc. plenty of Freddie photos downstairs. We were in room 321 our room was large with plenty of storage and a safe. No a/c but a fan but it wasn’t a hot night. Quiet room, bed was memory foam but I slept well. Bathroom was large and a good shower. We didn’t have breakfast as reviews had put me off.

Modern Hotel

Very new! Large rooms were very clean. Check-in awesome. Maria very helpful. Maria had a good knowledge of neighbourhood including restaurants. Very close to train station. Be sure to walk to it along the rail way platform. If you listen to Google, it takes you to the street and then you have to walk up hill.

Excellent staff were very helpful, particularly with a somewhat tech-challenged senior. The room was a good size but the headboard on one of the beds is detatched and kept banging off the wall. Also, the electrical outlets are blocked by that bed. It would be a problem if more than one person occupies the room.

The hotel is located at the end of Platform 1 in the train terminal, making it very easy to walk to the hotel and walk to a train. It’s also a couple of small steep streets from the dining options and another small block to the street where the Promenade is located.

Easily located at the end of the train station platforms. Staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Had a laundry if you needed it. It was a short walk from the hotel into the town centre and restaurants.

Building sewer system is broken. Showers take long time time to drain. Shower in inches of dirty water. Changed rooms and still happened. Staff told me they have complaints about drainage all the time.

Although my GPS took me out of the rail station and on a 7 min walk on two streets in the rain…I realized the next morning I could have walked for two minutes without ever leaving the train station. You just continue to walk towards a tall glass building at the end of Gleis1 and there you will find yourself at the hotel. Enjoyed viewing all the old photos of Freddie Mercury in the hotel lobby. When we entered our room and discovered one overhead light and one desk light were out, the front desk person immediately had a maintenance person replace the bulbs while we were out to dinner. Preventing us from changing rooms….I would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting the best railway station location…so convenient. Found the staff efficient and caring.
