The shower needed to be updated. Cracks and dirty grout lines were very noticeable. They put a rubber mat in the shower to hide the bad floor of the shower.

Room was amazing, comfortable and clean. Good breakfast, good coffee, clean pool. Unfortunately no coffee/tea was available in common areas during evening hours. Also, bartender was not there and only no mixed drinks were available.

Overall, the hotel is pleasant upon arrival. My family and I were hardly greeted and rushed through check in. Breakfast was pretty bad. Everything tasted like it was frozen/premade. The best part about breakfast was the premade French toast. Outside the property there was so much dog poop- luckily we managed to dodge every pile. On a positive note- the room was very spacious for our family of 4, clean and bed was comfortable. We stayed here for close access to Mystic Aquarium and next day visit to Lake Compounce. It’s also decently close to Foxwoods and Mohegan.

It was close to the arena so that was great. The hotel could use a larger sign out by the road as we kept driving by the entrance.

Number one am a senior lady almost 80. When I checked in I was never told info about breakfast . A cashier at the Mohegan Sun is who told me that I was lucky because the Hyatt served breakfast. Also I was not told that there was no shuttle on Sunday. I was relying on that shuttle to take me to the arena for a basketball game. Then I left the hotel on Sunday and came back to my dirty room. Not expecting at all bed not made , dirty wet towels, trash cans full . I was shocked when I walked in my room. I was never told they don’t clean the rooms but every other day. I had no towels to take a shower. When I went to talk to the manager on duty about all this. She say we haven’t had shuttle service on Sunday for years. I asked how was I suppose to know this since I never stayed here before. She said everything is on the web site. I am 80 years old and don’t have a computer. I paid $500 for this room and you all can’t even guarantee me clean towels to take a shower. I am disgusted with all this lack of communication. Not my fault. No apology and no reason to get this treatment. You should be ashamed . Marles Bianchi

Great stay but NO Cell Service.

Staff was great, pillows and bed very comfortable, the shower was amazing. Mist pressure I have ever had in a hotel shower, the only downfall was the lack of cell service. I either had one bar or absolutely no service unless I was outside of the hotel.

This hotel was always my favorite every time I go to Connecticut . Since covid this is my first time back , I see lots of changes in the hotel . I would say from luxuary down to a regular ordinary hotel. Luckily the room and bedding are clean .
