Bathroom was not clean with smudges on the shower door, brown substance in corners of shower, a pink substance under the faucet seen from the toilet, bed sheets did not appear to have been changed under the cover, and television did not work even after desk clerk changed batteries and checked the connections. I was told there were 60 checkouts that day and he apologized for the inconvenience. The desk clerk appeared to be the only person working that night and tried to clean shower, but was still dirty. The morning desk clerk could not make any changes to the bill, which could only be done by general manager, CJ. I left my number for a return call and have not heard from anyone to date.

Great location for easy access to Interstate 79. Nearby stores include Hobby Lobby, Triple S Harley-Davidson, Indian Motorcycle/Polaris and a BFS gas & convenience store. The property had a table of treats for returning and new WVU students coming in for fall classes which was a nice touch. Cleanliness of the floors in the hallways and elevators was poor and sticky. The breakfast was good. The rooms were adequate but A/C in our room was very musty. There were 3 of us and only 2 bath towels. When I went to get another one, the front desk was out of towels and we had to use a pool towel. A bit pricey for what we got.

I have to laugh at the high rating for this La Quinta, Morgantown location, on Expedia. I'm extremely disappointed at most of what I experienced during my stay. The bathroom was uterly disgusting and full of mold. Other than the fancy mirror, there was nothing I found acceptable about this room. There was dust on most surfaces in the room. The pillows wete half the size of normal pillows and looked very old. The hallyway smelled like a pet store, which isnt a surprise given the 3 dogs we saw. One of the ceiling tiles in the hallway was missing and water was leaking into a plastic trashcan. There were chunks of the ceiling that had fallen onto the carpet. One piece almost fell on my husband when he walked down the hall. I have pictures of all of these to support my complaints. I would advise others to stear clear of this hotel.

Pillows had stains on them, mold in shower, garbage and old food on floor by dresser, hair on bed and bath towels, ceiling is leaking so there are buckets of water in the hallway and visible water damage on ceiling and walls. Luckily we only had to stay one night or we would have left for sure.
