The modest yet comfortable cabin is the perfect little home base to unwind and do sone gourmet camp cooking compliments of the propane grill provided by the management. The property is lovely with easy beach access. I would highly recommend staying here. The management is exceptionally welcoming and caring. This trip was a little slice of heaven.
The park had no drinkable water. They said to boil the water a minute before drinking and we had no stove in the cabin. One fork, 3 spoons and knives for 3 people and said to boil water to wash dishes, no stove. At check in no cabin # on info form so we had to run down worker to find out what cabin we were in. No key in cabin but they did bring us one.
Excelent stay for my husband and 2 oldest kids! We enjoyed our own little cabin w our own deck, BBQ, utensils, plates, etc. Nice sized bathroom, bunk beds, comfortable queen bed, pool ( a little chilly) patio furniture, short walk from a little convenient store, and a couple little restaurants. Fantastic AC! A much needed break and only about a 30 minute drive from the gorge! Will definitely stay here again!
We stayed here to attend a concert at the gorge. The property is located about 30 minutes away from the venue but was close enough to make it an easy drive between the locations. The property is well maintained and the cabin we stayed in was perfect. We were easily able to sleep 3 people in the cabin and would have been able to accommodate a fourth person without feeling like we were on top of each other. The cafe had great coffee and breakfast. We also enjoyed the walking trails located on the property as well. We would definitely stay here again.
I booked this stay for my husband who had to work in the Quincy area for the weekend. He enjoyed it very much. The only downfall was there was only one per friendly cabin so I wasnât able to stay with him with our dog. Other than that he enjoyed it very much.
We rented this little cabin for 2 nights. We were in the area to attend a concert at the Gorge. This is a beautiful spot down by Columbia river, and the camp ground is spotless. It's about 10 minutes outside Quincy. Although it's a little far from the venue, it worked out and it really was a beautiful location.
The weirdest thing that happened at this venue was that there were no linens or towels, even though my expedia contract clear said it was included. I had to go to the front gate and pay more for them, and it took a few tries to get everything we needed.
The cabin is super small. We had four adults with one queen bed and one set of bunkbeds all within a couple feet of each other. Cabin is better suited for one couple with maybe one or two small children.
We stayed in a cabin. While it was small, it felt akin to a Tiny House in that it had everything you needed, including a nice kitchenette and dining area. Having our own personal cabin was nice, since we had a porch, a picnic area, and more outdoor space. We are a family traveling with little kids, so it was great to let them run around. It seemed pretty new, well taken care of, and very clean. I was very comfortable.
The linens were included, but the place initially told us they weren't. But, once we showed them our confirmation, they included them. We had to make our own beds, which wasn't super easy for the top bunk. We used their rec center, which had a foosball table and pool table, as well as tables. Because we were there for a wedding, we didn't have time to participate in any of their organized activities. The hosts there were friendly. I found out later that some people had deals, so find out if they are running any specials.
Since my in-laws chose the site, I don't know how it compares in terms of value to other things around the area. I felt it was a little more expensive than needed, but I'm not sure if that's true.
