Enjoy the sounds of nature & wooded walking trails, Camp fires with wood provided. 20 minutes from Granite peak ski resort! 20 minutes from Wausau, Stevens Point and Marshfield. Just off snowmobile trail. Fresh eggs and produce available when in season. House comes fully furnished. 15 minutes from CWA airport. Hunting could be available. Doggy care near by!

Great Bachelorette Weekend!!

My friends, my dog, and I stayed at this property and loved it! It had everything we needed, it was secluded and allowed us to enjoy the outdoors and relax. Ken stopped by to drop off bug spray which we greatly appreciated during our fire! I appreciated the cleanliness of everything too. We will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we all want to get together!

Beautiful home, beautiful setting!

The very pleasant host, Ken, intends to add a deck this summer. That will make this house perfect! We were a little wary of the steep front entry with the slightly unstable railing, but once in the house it was just lovely with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Little amenities were appreciated, too! Gorgeous fire pit and Ken was quick to provide us with more wood. We had a fire every night of our stay. Highly recommend!

Great summer getaway

We enjoyed our time at Kenneth's place. It was spacious and clean, with a great couch for watching movies on the huge mounted tv. Kitchen supplies were sufficient, and we cooked two larger meals during our time. The yard was large, and although we didn't use the fire pit, we enjoyed the adirondack chairs for reading in the morning. We even saw some deer and a flock of wild turkeys. Pretty much equidistant from Wausau and Stevens Point if you're looking for a day trip. Communication was easy, and Kenneth was helpful in resolving an issue we had with the VRBO site during booking. We'd definitely consider staying here again during our next family road trip!

Quiet, Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful property with a comfortable home atmosphere on a wooded lot. The Hosts were very accommodating and genuinely concerned that we had what we needed for an enjoyable stay. This was a truly wonderful experience, and we all (6 adults, 2 children) want to book this again!!

Great property, location, and hosts

Just a few minutes outside of Wausau, the house sits on a large, peaceful plot of land far enough away from everything, but not too far. The quiet spot was great for a fire outside at night and even had a strand of solar lights surrounding the fire pit which was a nice touch. The house had everything you could want and was in great condition. Again the s'mores package from the host was incredibly thoughtful, but they even had spices for cooking (which would be nice if others started doing as well)! It's a cozy place to stay and the hosts were excellent at communicating. Hopefully we'll be back again - thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Peaceful & Relaxing

Ken & Sue provided a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing property for us. We have stayed here before and really enjoy the location. They made certain that we were settled in and that if we needed anything at all, to contact them. Quiet and comfortable

The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied, the internet consistent, the linens, bedding and towels and even the toilet paper were quality. Unfortunately, it rained so we were unable to enjoy the firepit. Ken was very responsive to my calls and texts. ( We never did meet him.) We did take walks through the woods and the wild turkeys came through the property every afternoon.

Great location and fabulous host!

My famiky had plenty of room...inside and out to cook, play games, and relax! Our fabulous host came to check on us and had us relocate our vehicles prior to a coming hailstorm, and started our campfire the next night! Superior stay and hosts!

House was very nice and roomy. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Visiting during Iola Car Show. Plenty of room for the 3 classic cars we brought. Campfires about every night. Kitchen was well stocked.
