The room is spacious and good, though the reception is not flexible. One of us was not sure about the breakfast, and ask if we can buy it for one person first and figure it out later. The answer is no and we have to pay Euro26.- for 1 instead of Euro21.-for 1. This is not the way to treat your customer.

The Mercure is our favorite place to stay when we are in Munich for any period of time. The hotel is convenient to the main Hauptbahnhof and the main old town. The hotel is chic, comfortable and friendly. The rooms are superior and the breakfast is top notch. The staff are helpful and friendly and work to insure you have a pleasant stay.

Good standard hotel. The free drinks in the room fridge were very much welcolme. Good size room. Hotel ideally suited close to the main railway station though as with all such areas its not the nicest area itself. However, we found the hotel clean, safe and service good so would stay again.

Ordered lunch the first day. Quality of the chicken burger was not good. Wait staff was very slow in taking my order and providing a check at the end of the meal. At breakfast, wait staff tried clearing dishes before I had finished my meal. The room was spacious but the shower was ridiculous. A very small wall did nothing to keep water from running all over the floor.

Clean and spacious rooms. Only negative was unfortunately the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Free mini bar is unusual, but very welcome. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. There were a lot of different options for breakfast - fresh fruit every day was great too.
