This place was outstanding! Bed was super comfy!!! Lady who checked us in was amazing and sweet! They were accommodating! We went for a little walk around a pond up the street. It was a great place

Clean and very friendly!

Everyone was so friendly! It’s a little older but everything was nice and clean. We are traveling through with our 3 small kids and this place was a great place to spend the night. The pool and hot tub were great. The pool could have been a little warmer and the hot tub a little cooler but it was still enjoyable. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. There are several cute little restaurants a few blocks away. We were very impressed and would definitely stay here again on a road trip.

The lady who checked us in (Katie) was wonderful. The night desk clerk was horrible, asked a simple question, he was rude and condescending. That alone would keep me from staying again.

Stopped on our way to Badlands and Black Hills. We liked our stay overall and found the Lodge to be comfortable and very good all-around. Location, cleanliness, ambience and staff were the main positives for us. Some things keeping it from Excellent were a chlorine smell in the lobby & hallway and the breakfast was slightly below what you would get at a Comfort Inn / Econo Lodge type place but it was still good overall.

Lodging in Murdo, South Dakota

The lodging was comfortable, and the service was good. But the breakfast food options were not good. Powered eggs were grainy and very salty. Suasage links were barely warm form the microwave, and the so-called great cinnamon rolls were some of the worst I've ever had. Enjoy the stay but spare yourself from a disappointing breakfast. Get a waffle iron and pre-made mix. That would definitely improve things.

We had a late check in and the staff were great about it. We let them know in advance and they were prepared for us. Check in was easy. Even with our pet. We had 5 of us and by the time we parked, they had a roll away at our door. We will stay again.

Don’t use this hotel if you have mobility issues

This is a practical basic hotel. I’m traveling with my mother who is elderly and was unable to get a room on the main floor. The man behind the desk seemed un concerned that she would have to climb the flight of stairs as there is no elevator. Anyone who is traveling with a senior citizen or somebody who is unable to do stairs should skip this hotel. Obviously they don’t care whether you can make it or not.

Bri at the front desk was great and honestly the room was so comfortable. Only complaint was shower drain not the greatest and breakfast was ok. Also prairie pizza next door was delicious!!
