The Jetty House Jervis Bay

The "Jetty House Jervis Bay" is located on the Currambene Creek in Myola.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend fishing off your own private jetty, entertaining family and friends on the deck while enjoying the gorgeous sunset, canoeing down the creek or heading to the beach, the "Jetty House" is the place to be!

Location & Attractions
The "Jetty House " is located approx. 2.5hours from Sydney, 1.5hours from Wollongong and about 3hours from Canberra.

If you are looking to get out on the water in your boat for a bit of fishing or exploring some of the great beaches in Jervis Bay, you can put your boat in about 300m down the road, head out for the day and then moor it on your own private jetty overnight, all ready for the next day.

Callala Beach is located at the Southern end of the street and is great for kids as well as specific off leash areas for dogs.

If you are wanting to head over to Huskisson for the day the "Husky Ferry" can be caught a short walk down the Southern end of the street and runs regularly during school holidays and peak season.

The dolphin and whale watch cruises can be caught over at Husky or if you prefer to stay on land the dolphins can be seen from the beach, or may even head up stream in the creek while your sitting on the deck at the "Jetty House".

The local shops are convenient with IGA, butcher, baker, café, post office, liquor store and chemist or stock up at Woolworths or Aldi in Culburra or Nowra.

The Callala Bay RSL has golf, lawn bowls and restaurant or head down to the Community Hall to hire a tennis court.

The Retreat
- Converted garage area perfect for entertaining with pool table, juke box, dart board and tv.

The house is pet friendly with a fully fenced in yard and under cover deck for your pets night time accommodation. All pets must be pre approved prior to booking confirmation.

We are contactable by phone anytime if you need any assistance during your stay.

House Rules
We ask that you respect our house and ensure it is locked up at all times when you are not there. If you choose to smoke please do so outside only and dispose of your cigarette butts appropriately and dispose of rubbish in allocated bins.

All linen is provided however we do have an option to bring your own linen at a reduced price.

Please note unless discussed prior the 4th bedroom is only provided access to if 8 or more guests are booked as it is off the main house.

Was a great place to stay for 3 nights. Clean and tidy and plenty to do with kayaking, fishing, boating or swimming. The entertainment room was fun. Watching some TV, while playing pool.Al-in-all, it was a very pleasant stay and relaxing. Just a shame I could not stay longer, but will be back in future for my next holiday.10/10 Thankyou to the host.

Absolute waterfront

We had such a fun stay at the Jetty House. It was so nice to be right on the water especially with your own private jetty for fishing.

Fantastic jetty house in Myola. Absolutely loved our stay.

Best family weekend in Myola. Spacious clean house, tranquil surrounds, fantastic jetty which we used for our boat and fishing and paddle boarding. Our kids, ages 8yo and 6yo loved the jetty too and they got to do a lot of fishing. Will definitely return.

Beautiful house with stunning views and location

The house was very neat and tidy and had the most beautiful view of the lake at myola right at the front of the house. Its own private jetty was perfect for fishing and easy access into boat The property was quite large for the dogs and kids to run around in We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again hopefully soon

Family long weekend.

The Jetty House was the perfect haven for our adult children, spouses and teenagers. From the moment we arrived it felt like a home away from home. We spent the weekend relaxing, fishing off the jetty, kayaking and swimming. We will definitely be booking again. Not far from Callalla Beach and shops. Perfect quiet slice of paradise for our family of 10.

Fantastic getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Jetty House. Right on the water meant we could watch the kids swimming, on the SUP or fishing, all from the house deck! The games room was fun for some healthy pool competition with the family. 2 min drive to the beautiful Callala Beach, which had clear waters and kid friendly waves. Definitely recommend for an extended family or even two families.

Everything you need in a great location

Great, quiet location to stay-in with everything you need on site. Lovely neighbourhood and friendly locals. Short walk to Callala Beach. Fabulous private jetty to relax and watch the bird life, fish and launch the kayak. Great property for the dogs, decent sized yard and front deck. Roomy house and plenty of handy facilities in the house. Excellent reception and easy check-in and out. Great communication from the host. Would stay again.

Great location and communication

House and location were amazing. We had an issue with the fridge while there, but the owner was very responsive to messages and we were able to rectify the issue easily. The pool table was usable, but broken, with the balls falling through onto the floor. The bunk beds were not comfortable. Would rebook and stay again.

Great location

The back bedroom was so hot we were unable to use. The kitchen had a lot of greasy items eg the toaster and the frypans Teflon coatings were all damaged so didn't use. However the location is incredible and the feel of the house is lovely. Gamesroom was excellent when we did have rain.

What great Stay, very versatile Accommodation

Excellent quiet location either to stay-in with everything you need on site, or use as a launching place for adventures nearby. We caught the Husky Ferry over to Huskisson for a great lunch ($15 return fare with Skipper Dave at the Helm. We spent the rest of the time having a fish from the private jetty and pontoon landing a couple of nice Bream, playing pool and darts in the man-cave style shed, preparing good tucker and drinks in the ample kitchen or watching something on the huge TV while catching up. Plenty of space and plenty of handy facilities in the house. We can't wait to come back again, and will definitely book longer next time. Excellent reception and easy check-in and out. Great communication from the host

BBQ

Just a couple of issues. Firstly, the BBQ was really dirty and rusty and we couldn't use it instead had to use frypan. Secondly, a few of us would have liked an extra pillow as there was only one for each person. Having said that everyone caught a fish or two and thoroughly enjoyed their stay in this lovely setting. Perfect location. Such a lot to do.

The jetty house was the perfect place for a three generational holiday. Plenty of space. The creek is clean and can swim at night and low tide. Pet friendly. We hired kayaks for a few days and also had our paddle boards. Perfect if you have a boat too. Ramp is just up the road. The games room was awesome for the kids. Only gripe is that there was no where for my parents to hang up their clothes in the main bedroom. Would be nice to leave just a section of the wardrobe for main bedroom guests. Other than that. Such a great holiday and we were very lucky with the weather. Thanks Rachel.

A little slice of heaven

The first words hubby said when when we arrived at the house - “Honey, you done good.” Hubby and stepson made full use of the jetty in front of the house, fishing twice a day. The house was comfortable, clean, roomy and felt like home, not just another house- really made us feel welcome, right from the start. Plenty of yard room for my 3 dogs to run around as well as an enclosed deck so they could still watch where I was on the SUP or on the jetty. The beds were comfy, and so were the couches. Close to the off leash beach for the pups, and I loved being able to hear the waves in the evening. Had a great time playing pool (very badly) in the games room for the first time in years. It was such a wonderful few days and we can’t wait to come back
