The big draw to this property is how overly dog-friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to enjoy.

The resort is nice and convenient. However, the unit was not. The bedroom smelled of weed and general muskiness, the sofa was worn and dirty, and pest control is needed for roaches.

Roaches
This unit has roaches beware! Also be ready to smell cigarette smoke your whole stay and this is suppose to be a smoke free building!
To whom it concerns, we stayed in room 722 on April 16-17. We are all active military veterans wanting to enjoy a day at the beach and we couldnât. At check in, our dogs were discriminated for looking to aggressive. I have a 5 month pocket bully, 9in at the withers. Itâs a new breed that came out in 2004 and the female at the front desk argued that heâs a pitbull when he is not, online will say: âthere is a misconception about Pocket Bullies that they are aggressive like PitBulls. This does not stand true. The truth is that this breed, in particular, is a loving and friendly breedâ. A lady before me said she has a boxer, she got no questions. Now when I mentioned that a friend is bringing a boxer-lab mix, it got chaotic with every employee arguing with us. At that point I thought it was cause Iâm Mexican-American or military. 2 chihuahuas were aggressive to others and our pets werenât. I saw customers with German Shepherds that were in the restricted list, when ours werenât even on the list. On top of that, they didnât want to put 2 dogs in one room when a document from the hotel mention 2 pet max per room. My husband, (also military) is very calm and professional and the same female at the front was very rude and thought she had the authority to snap on him. She refused to see documents that our pet is registered with ABKC and mentioned how they will find ways to kick us out. Anyways, check-in is at 1600 which is late and check-out is at 1000 which is to early. We were unable to get a day worth our money. I called to ask for an extended checkout and offered to pay but instead we were being yelled at to leave the room, everyone on the floor heard and below us because a fellow customer came from the stairs and she was sorry for us for being yelled at by the employees there. I shouldâve offered to clean, thereâs six of us that are military and we are trained to perform our duties in a timely manner, we couldâve finish the room in 30 mins instead of the cleaning crew taking 6 hours to clean. Just because we are military, doesnât mean we like to be yelled at especially on vacation by civilians. We work hard every day and we were just trying to relax and enjoy a day at the beach and unfortunately we couldnât do any of that before going back to work. It was a waste of money, and a waste of time.
