A wonderful family vacation awaits you in our luxurious five bedroom, four bath oceanfront condominium. The Southwind is located in a quiet residential setting along the 'Golden Mile'. It offers exceptional oceanfront amenities including indoor & outdoor pools, a large lazy river, two outdoor and one indoor hot tub, a kiddie pool and an exercise facility. Enjoy the fitness trail and oceanfront children's playground nearby.

Our 2,400 sq. ft. five bedroom condominium located on the 15th floor offers panoramic ocean views with relaxing ocean breezes from the large private wrap around balcony. The balcony can be accessed from the living room and master bedroom. A fully equipped kitchen with appliances and granite countertops.

This condominium has a large master suite with king size bed, flat screen TV, jacuzzi tub, separate shower and two sinks, granite countertops and large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has two queen size beds, flat screen TV and private bath. The third bedroom has a queen size bed with private bath, flat screen TV, private balcony with ocean view. The fourth & fifth bedrooms have ocean views & share a full bath, both have flat screen TV's and each has 1 queen.

A large open Living area with one standard sofa and one sofa bed, Flat screen TV, high speed internet. Enjoy golf, tennis, shopping, live shows, great dining choices in on the the most sought after oceanfront vacation spots in the world.

The housekeeping fee includes departure cleaning service and linens, including towels, washcloths, hand towels, and bath mats. Any stained, non-washable, ruined linen will be subject to additional charges. Our linen is NOT to be used to remove makeup or clean up messes. However, guests will need to bring additional supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels, as only a starter roll is provided.

House parties and Groups: House parties and groups with members under the age of 25 are prohibited. We do not rent to non-family groups unless ALL members of the group are 25 years of age or older. Any misrepresentation by groups of their age will not qualify for refunds.

Lacking a few basics just to improve the stay, no beach chairs even though stated there would be, no dish soap or sponge to help keep pans/counter clean, few cups - if the location houses 12 there should be at least 12 glasses/cups.

Such a Wonderful Stay!

We had the most awesome time for our holiday vacay! From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt right at home. It was 9 of us (including adults and children). It was the perfect location with everyone coming from different parts of the country. Everyone had their own space. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and the view overlooking the beach was a plus! Since it was the Thanksgiving holiday we did a lot of cooking and it was plus to find all the utensils, bakeware, pots and pan, etc. that we needed! We're already talking about doing the same for next year..lol! Thank you so much for such an enjoyable, memorable Thanksgiving vacay!

This was our first time in PH1506...but 4th time at Southwinds. We very much enjoyed our fall break...usually we come in July. This condo fulfilled our need for more beds but the decor seemed drabby and outdated. A heated pool would have been nice but hot tubs were available and utilized by young and old alike!

Property has great potential

The unit is a great size and was mostly clean. There were 9 in our party and we had more than enough room. Southwind is one of my favorite resorts to visit. That being said, there are a lot of minor things that could be updated/replaced in the unit just to make the stay more comfortable. It seems like the unit has the original furniture and linen package from when the property was built. The chairs on the balcony are very rusty and are shedding piles of rust on the floor. The three adult couples in our party all had a hard time sleeping because the beds were uncomfortable. The dining room is down to 6 chairs because the two other chairs are broken and stored in the master closet. One of the queen bedrooms had a chair that felt like the leg would break if you sat on it. In the same bedroom, the dresser drawers would not stay shut. The linens were very old, bedspreads pilling and scratchy, curtains frayed and torn, etc. Again, nothing here that ruined our stay, just the unit desperately needs to be updated-especially for the $$$.

Good condo with nice features

Overall, this was a great condo and well depicted in the photos. We went in late June and the location is right next to the only 2 high-rises for a few blocks in either direction so the fear was the beach would be packed, but it was well spread out. There were small (and I mean very small) issues of burnt out lights, difficult to open sliding doors, and double entering of the keypad code but nothing of note to be a deal breaker or something to ding a review with a building that's not brand new, so we're used to it. DJ, who you contact for any issues, was great to talk to and really helped clarify as the terms and conditions are quite strict regarding who is responsible for damages. The rooms were spacious and beds were very surprisingly comfortable!! Usually towards the end of a vacation you're longing for your own bed, but we felt just as rested at the end as when we arrived. The living room furniture is comfortable sturdy, no complaints there. The kitchen was a little tight when two people were working inside, but hardly any kitchen is, unless you're spending huge amounts for a luxury home. The check-in process was a text received with the code and easy to get in once you learned the key code needed to be entered twice. The first time unlocked the deadbolt (we think) and the second time you enter it the door handle lock unlocks. We were never able to get in after the first time entering the code, but again, was a super simple thing to get around.

Our Vacation

The unit was very cozy and clean! It was big enough for my large family, and had plenty of pools for everyone of all ages to enjoy! Check-in and Check-out was very smooth, nothing stressful or complicated! Balconies provided breathtaking views and felt secured. This unit definitely deserves praise! That being said, there were a few small complications in the unit. First thing we noticed was that a towel hanger in one of the bathrooms wasn't properly mounted to the wall and fell off. The lights in the living room flickered on and off a few times our second night and didn't turn back on until the next day. Additionally, the lights in the rooms were a bit tricky to work with but it wasn't that bad. Overall, we had a great trip!

One of the dining chairs was broken and in the master bedroom closet under a lot of blankets and the towel rack in the bathroom of the bathroom in the bedroom on the left at the end of the hall kept falling apart. SO DIRTY

This was beyond dirty! Most of the TVs barley work. They need to find different cleaners. Mold in the bath rooms. Dust and crumbs everywhere. If you look under the night stand in the master bedroom is a old can of bud light beer. And lots of bugs.
