The Space:

Meridian Plaza is well situated in the heart of Myrtle Beach, near to a variety of attractions! It is near eateries, retail establishments, theaters, and other attractions. To enjoy meals in your condo, the kitchen features a refrigerator, range, microwave, and range hood in addition to bar stools. There is a sleeper sofa in the living area for extra sleeping space, and the bedroom has a king bed with a Tempurpedic mattress.



While towels are provided for the pool area, the resort requests that patrons refrain from bringing them to the beach. Please remember to pack any beach accessories you may have.

You can eat meals in your apartment with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and range hood in the kitchen, which also offers a bar stool area. A wonderful indoor pool and a huge swimming pool beside the seaside. Only a short distance from the shore! AND FREE WIFI, THE BEST OF ALL!

Fully equipped apartment, nice pool!!A little wear and tear with the remodelling (wall patches, etc. But overall a nice spacious resort apt.

Upon checkin there were cockroaches in the kitchen. I notified the host immediately and asked to be moved to a different unit as they host many in the area. I got back a snippet of the rental agreement saying "they're not a pest control company" and refused to move me or refund me so i could go doneness else. There was a comment where they said they could send someone to spray the unit. After a dozen emails and tons of frustration someone did come spray the unit a week later. It did not help and there were roaches in the unit the entire months stay. It gets worse believe it or not:A week into the rental scaffolding was put up 20 feet directly below the unit and they started drilling into the building at 9am daily for concrete restoration. When I asked the foreman how long this was scheduled for and when/were the unit owners informed he told me "since last winter". This was not mentioned at all at time of booking. When I again notified the host asking to be moved or refunded they replied back "its an HOA issue not theirs".Big Fish Rentals was the most unprofressional company I've ever dealt with. They refused to get on the phone or call me back and when they would reply to an email or text they wouldn't tell you the name of the person you were communication with. I don't know how they're in business and when contacting VRBO (who did refund the small fee they charged) I expressed they shouldn't do business with this company.

Stay far away from this unit. The broken cabinets, doors, holes in the wall were a non-issue for a two night stay. It was the black mold in the bedroom, kitchen and living area that caused us to check out only 45 minutes into our stay. I provided the property manager with photos immediately and kept in close contact via text and here on this platform. They started out as responsive, but have since been ignoring my requests. I am a frequent renter via VRBO, but will try other platforms going forward. We travel a lot between sports tournaments and visiting kids in college.
